Integration of JotForm and Mixpanel

JotForm is a website form builder that allows users to create and share forms. It was started by its founders David Yang and David Gomberg in 2006. It provides custom forms, surveys, quizzes, and more. JotForm uses responsive design so it can be accessed on all devices (PCs/Macs, tablets, mobile phones. It is able to integrate with other services through APIs (application programming interface.

Mixpanel is a service that helps users view analytics data on their website. It provides analytics that are real-time, giving the user accurate information. Integration of JotForm and Mixpanel

In order to integrate Mixpanel with JotForm, one must first go to Mixpanel’s website and sign up for an account. Then, go to the settings section and get your API keys. You need two keys. one for “Authentication” and one for “Integration”. These keys are located at the top right corner of the page as shown below (Figure 1.

Go back to JotForm and go to the forms section of the site. Go to the add new form button and click “start building” (Figure 2.

Once this is done, you will be directed to the form editor. First, you will enter your information under “Form Title” (Figure 3. Then enter the form description under “Description” (Figure 4.

To complete the integration of JotForm and Mixpanel, go to the “Data Cplection” section (Figure 5. Here, you will find a new dropdown menu with option “Mixpanel”. After selecting this option, you will see a new sub section appear called “Cplecting Data”. This is where you put your Mixpanel API key from before (Figure 6. Once you have entered your API key, click “Save” at the top right corner of the screen. This will return you to the editing screen where you can edit what you want people to answer to your questions (Figure 7. Here you will also see a new option called “Mixpanel Data Cplection”. You will get a pop up asking you to confirm if you want to link the form with Mixpanel, or not (Figure 8. After this has been confirmed, it will appear in the second section where you can change the name of your form (Figure 9. Save this form and all your hard work thus far will be saved. Test out your form and navigate through it to see if there are any errors or concerns that need to be fixed within your form (Figure 10.
