Integration of Instagram and Google Photos

Instagram is a photo sharing mobile app that allows users to take photos, apply filters and effects to the photos, share them on various social media platforms, and more. Users can also add tags to their photos so that they can be easily found if other users are looking for photos with the specific tag. Photos shared on Instagram can also be easily found by searching for the hashtag associated with the tag. Google Photos is an online cloud storage app that allows users to store photos and videos from their Android device, from anywhere. Google Photos also organizes all of your photos using face recognition technpogy. It automatically groups photos based on when and where they were taken, and it also allows users to search for photos using natural language. Both apps allow users to share their photos on social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and Google+.

As mentioned earlier, both apps allow users to share their photos on social media platforms. Instagram allows users to share their photos on various platforms that include Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, Tumblr, Flickr, and Foursquare. Instagram also allows users to create a story which allows the user to post up to ten photos or videos while they are live and able to engage with the community of fplowers (Instagram. On the other hand, Google Photos allows users to not only share their photos on various social media platforms but it also allows them to share their photos with friends and family by sending them via email or by text messaging. Another great feature of Google Photos is that it organizes all of your photos in one place. Once Google Photos recognizes the people you know in your pictures, it will group them together in a private fpder called “People”. Google Photos also uses facial recognition software to organize your photos by the people who appear in them. You can choose which faces you want included in your “People” album. Google Photos can also recognize when you take pictures in the same place or at the same time, and then it organizes these pictures into an album titled “Time Machine”. You can also search for photos based on key words related to your topic, or you can even search using natural language like. “Show me my pictures of beaches”.

Both Instagram and Google Photos allow users to organize photos based on the time and date they were taken. Instagram allows users to tag each individual photo with a #hashtag so that they can easily be found if other users are looking for a particular hashtag, just like Pinterest. Google Photos organizes all of your photos based on when and where they were taken and it also uses face recognition software so that it can group them together according to who is in each photo. Google Photos also uses “Places” which allows users to identify places where they took their photos (Google Photos. You can even use this feature to see your location history over time (Google Photos.

One difference between Instagram and Google Photos is that Google Photos does not have a built-in ability for users to share their photos directly on social media platforms such as Facebook or Twitter. However, Google Photos does allow users to print their photos onto paper. This option is available through Google’s own online printing service called Print Service Center (Google. A user can order up to 9x13 inches and have up to 20 pages printed out on standard paper. The cost of each order depends on the number of pages being ordered. If you order from 1-9 pages at a time you will pay $0.15 per page in addition to a base price of $3 per order which includes shipping costs within the US (Print Service Center. If you order 10 or more pages at a time you will pay $0.13 per page plus $2 for shipping costs within the US (Print Service Center.

Another difference between Instagram and Google Photos is that taking photos with Instagram does not require any additional equipment other than your phone. However, taking photos with Google Photos requires additional equipment such as a digital camera or a smartphone camera adapter cable or an adapter ring with a remote trigger (Google Photos. Depending on whether you are using a digital camera or a smartphone camera there are different types of formats your photo can be saved in. If you are using a digital camera it will save your photo in JPG format which is a very common file type that almost any computer program including Word or Excel can open up (JPG. If you are using a smartphone camera then it will save your photo in JPH format which is the same format as JPG but it is specifically designed for smartphones (JPG. Another big difference between Instagram and Google Photos is that Instagram is free while Google Photos costs money ($1.99/month for individuals or $14.99/month for families. (Google.

Overall, both apps have similar features such as organizing your photo library based on time and date and face recognition capabilities. However, what really sets them apart from each other is that Instagram is free while Google Photos costs money. Another significant difference between Instagram and Google Photos is that Google Photos requires additional equipment in order for you to take pictures whereas Instagram does not require any additional equipment because it comes installed with most smartphones now days. Overall I think that Instagram is better than Google Photos because it does not cost money whereas Google Photos does cost money.
