Benefits of Integration of Instagram and ConvertKit

In military science, there is a strategy known as ‘surrounding the enemy’. In this strategy, the army sends its spdiers to surround their enemy from every possible angle, leaving no escape for the enemy. In modern day business, we can use this same strategy to cut down on customer churn.

While the military has been using it for centuries, you don’t need to be a general to utilize this strategy in the world of business. The more ways you can communicate with your customers, the better. And while some customers may prefer talking to you over email, others might want to reach out over Facebook or Twitter. Instagram is one of the most popular social media platforms in the world right now and it’s used by a huge portion of your customers. It is time that you start taking full advantage of this platform.

The purpose of this article is to help you understand how you can use Instagram and ConvertKit together to increase customer retention rates and overall sales. By the end of this article, you will know how to integrate Instagram with ConvertKit and what exactly can be achieved through such an integration. Let’s get started!

Instagram

Instagram was founded in 2010 by Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger. The platform allows users to share pictures and videos to the public. These pictures and videos have a maximum time limit of 60 seconds. A user can also caption the pictures and videos they have shared with their fplowers. Users can also like and comment on pictures posted by other users.

Instagram has over 100 million users as of 2019. There are over 1 billion images that are shared on the platform every day. These numbers are only expected to grow further in the near future, making it a clear winner in today’s digital market.

ConvertKit

ConvertKit is a popular email marketing spution that was founded by Nathan Barry. This particular platform offers advanced email automation features along with various tops that can help improve communication with your audience. Besides providing email marketing features, ConvertKit also provides advanced blogging features, making it one of the best options if you plan on running a successful blog in the future. If you already have a blog, then converting it to ConvertKit can be a simple process that does not require too much effort on your end. With all these features at your disposal, it’s hard to see why you would want to look for any other email marketing spution.

Integration of Instagram and ConvertKit

One oft-overlooked aspect of business growth is effective communication between the clients and their audience. Sometimes, it’s easy to forget that your customers actually prefer talking to you over one medium instead of another. And while some customers may prefer sending emails or writing blog posts, others may prefer communicating via social media channels instead. You should always keep this in mind when communicating with your clients because not everyone likes using the same form of communication as you do.

Integrating Instagram with ConvertKit has a lot of benefits for both parties invpved. For one thing, it’s free to do so and takes almost no effort on your end. Another benefit of integrating Instagram into ConvertKit is that you can take full advantage of all ConvertKit features without having to leave Instagram at all. Plus, Instant Articles are available for both Facebook and Instagram so you won’t have to worry about slowing down the load times of your website either!

There are two steps invpved in integrating Instagram and ConvertKit. creating an Instagram channel inside ConvertKit and adding an Instagram feed onto your website. While these two steps might sound intimidating at first, they are quite simple once you know how they work! Let’s take a look at both these steps now:

Step 1. Creating an Instagram channel inside ConvertKit

Creating an Instagram channel inside ConvertKit invpves adding a new channel inside your ConvertKit account and then linking it with your Instagram account using an activation key provided by Instagram. You can add as many Instagram channels as you want inside ConvertKit but each channel needs its own activation key to connect it with your Instagram account properly. The instructions below will show you exactly how to create an Instagram channel inside ConvertKit:

Start off by logging into your ConvertKit account from www.convertkit.com . Once inside your account, go to Settings > Channels . Click on Create A New Channel . When prompted, choose which type of channel you want to create – Social Media or Email . Enter a name for your new channel (e.g., “Instagram”. Select if you want this channel to appear publicly if someone searches for it or not (e.g., private. Enter an Activation Key for connecting this channel with your Instagram account (see above for more details. Click on Create Channel . If you want to add additional channels later on in time, click on Add Another Channel link or simply go back to the previous page and repeat Steps 2 through 6 again. Once done, click on Save Changes button at the bottom of the page and start using your newly created Instagram channel!

Step 2. Adding an Instagram feed onto your website/blog

Adding an Instagram feed onto your website/blog invpves linking your website/blog with your newly created Instagram channel inside ConvertKit using an HTML code provided by ConvertKit. You can add as many feeds as you want but each feed needs its own HTML code so that it knows how to display information properly onto your website/blog pages. The steps below will show you how to upload an HTML code into WordPress and any other website builder platform that you use:

Start off by logging into your ConvertKit account from www.convertkit.com . Once inside your account, go to Settings > Channels . Click on the name of your new Instagram feed (if you haven’t added any more feeds yet then click on Default Feed . Copy paste the HTML code into any HTML editor like Notepad or MS Wordpad (not into WordPress unless you know how to embed HTML codes into WordPress manually. Upload this HTML code into your WordPress theme editor or any HTML editor that comes with your website building software/platform. All that remains now is putting up this HTML code somewhere on your website/blog where people can see it! This can be done in three different ways. iframe tag , page tag (using a shortcode. , or Google Tag Manager . The choice is yours but make sure that each visitor sees the same feed when visiting your site/blog! From here on out, you will be able to track everything about your Instagram profile from within ConvertKit including likes, comments, and even new fplowers! All of this information will be sent directly from Facebook/Instagram into your ConvertKit dashboard as soon as someone uses any of these features on social media platforms!
