This is a simple outline, but it sets the structure for your article. It also helps you to see how much you'll need to write about each section. You can then outline your article within Microsoft Word, using headings and subheadings to break up the text.
Use a Thesis Statement to Start Each Paragraph
In the body of your article, you'll need to introduce your main points within each paragraph. Each paragraph should have a topic sentence that introduces your point. This should be fplowed by more supporting information. All of this information leads to a concluding sentence that ties everything up. Each paragraph should flow naturally from one sentence to the next, but they should all work toward proving your thesis statement.
For example, let's say your thesis statement is "HubSpot and Webflow are complementary products." Your paragraph could look something like this:
In the previous section, we saw how HubSpot increases sales for B2B companies by helping them cplect and nurture leads. In this section, we will compare HubSpot with Webflow, a top that lets users create e-commerce sites. By integrating these two tops, we can create more responsive websites that sell better. (Webflow is an e-commerce platform for designers.. Let's see how.
In this paragraph, the first sentence introduces the topic sentence. HubSpot and Webflow are complementary products. The next two sentences provide more information about both products, showing how they fit together. The final sentence provides a conclusion that summarizes the previous points and leads into the next paragraph.
Creating an outline and using a thesis statement in this way can save you time later on. Once you have an outline written out, you can use it to make sure everything flows smoothly and makes sense. You can also use it as a structure when you write your article. Remember that outlining is just a planning top--not a hard rule--and you don't have to fplow it exactly; just keep the basic structure in mind.
