Integration of HubSpot and Stripe

Stripe is a payment processing company based in San Francisco, California. It provides an API that allows developers to accept payments online without having to build their own payment processing system. Stripe aims to help businesses of all sizes and technical abilities to incorporate online payments into their existing business. It was founded in 2010 by brothers Patrick and John Cplison. Stripe is now used by over 70,000 businesses (as of mid-2016. including Shopify, Reddit, Lyft, KickStarter, The New York Times, Twitter, Blue Bottle Coffee, Humble Bundle, and Wikipedia.

Stripe is a merchant platform for running and managing your business. Stripe handles the complex, highly technical process of accepting credit cards on a website. For this reason, Stripe’s primary audience is modern businesses.

Stripe has always had the goal of making it easy for entrepreneurs to set up their ecommerce systems. They offer businesses with a simple API that makes use of tokens and HTTP calls to allow for payments to be sent with little complexity. Furthermore, Stripe does not charge per transaction; instead they charge a percentage of each sale made using their service. They also provide a refund feature to allow refunds to be issued quickly and easily.

Stripe uses a very large-scale distributed system by design. Their data centers are spread out around the globe and are fully redundant. Businesses using Stripe are able to scale as needed with no downtime or performance degradation.

HubSpot is a global inbound marketing software company based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. HubSpot’s software platform allows companies to attract visitors to their websites, convert them into leads, and close them as customers. HubSpot has a market cap of 3 billion dplars and has been named one of the fastest growing software companies in history.

HubSpot launched in 2006 with the goal of helping companies generate traffic and leads for their websites through inbound marketing strategies. The company started with a free product that allowed companies to create landing pages and web forms for sending out emails. In 2010 HubSpot launched its paid product which included analytics and an email management system. Inspired by other SaaS products, HubSpot built a sales team that was able to grow the company into a profitable venture within just two years.

The HubSpot Sales Model. HubSpot uses a revenue-based model where the company is only paid if they bring in new customers that are acquired through their software. This is similar to the freemium model seen throughout the software industry but it differs in that HubSpot charges a set rate regardless of whether the customer uses the software or not. One of the most enticing features of HubSpot’s free product is a set amount of leads that can be generated each month for free. After this limit is reached, the company will charge $100 per lead thereafter until they cancel their account at which point they must pay $2,500 to cancel any contracts related to their account.

To integrate HubSpot CRM (Customer Relationship Management. with Stripe, we will need to download the Stripe PHP Library and configure it in order to integrate it with our application. From there, we will need to create the fplowing API calls. “Stripe Connect” and “Create Token” in order to successfully connect our application with Stripe. We will then need to integrate Stripe with our existing database (MySQL. in order to store and retrieve information about our customers who have already purchased from us or who are interested in making a purchase from us in the future. Finally, we will need to create an account dashboard so users can log in and view their personal information and make changes without having to interact directly with the database itself. We will also need to create an area for users to add new orders so they may place new orders for items they have recently purchased or would like to purchase in the future.
