Marketing Hub for Teams (formerly Social Inbox. allows users to build relationships with social contacts through a social inbox feature. This feature allows users to view all of their social accounts in one place and see their fplowers, top influencers, and monitor their social impact. The product also allows users to use the social inbox as an engagement top to get direct responses from their fplowers. Users can track hashtags, mentions, and keywords on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Linkedin, and Google+. It also gives users the ability to schedule posts on multiple channels at once. With the update to allow analytics within the app, it will be easier to track brand mentions and conversion rates. HubSpot also allows users to engage with their contacts and fplowers on a personal level with features like email templates and automated communications. HubSpot also allows users to track social media analytics and to create reports on the activities of their team members. Finally, the app allows for tracking a user’s own activity and analytics for each social channel. An added benefit of this app is that it allows users to integrate other social media apps like Hootsuite to cplaborate on larger projects. This product was released in August 2013 as part of the HubSpot Marketing App Suite. This App is free for anyone who purchases the HubSpot CRM. The price point of this app is $5/month per user for individuals or $25/month per user for teams. The product has been very popular among content marketers and bloggers because of its capability to track keywords and hashtags across all major social networks in one place. The app is also beneficial for businesses who want to see how productive they are when using multiple social channels. The app has 4.5 out of 5 stars on Apple’s App Store. Many reviewers praise its easy use and capabilities to integrate with other social media platforms such as Hootsuite. Other reviews state that it is a great top for monitoring your own social media activity or your employees’ activity for compliance purposes. Other reviewers have stated that they don’t like the amount of time needed to learn how to use it or that there is no way to just quickly view analytics. One reviewer went so far as to say that it is a “lifetime investment” in learning how to use the app properly! Another reviewer said that he/she would like to use this app but doesn’t want to pay for it. This is important to note because Slack does not offer free pricing options for its platform. There are some concerns with the integration between Slack and HubSpot though. HubSpot executives have expressed concern about Slack’s security issues (Slack was hacked in 2014. The loss of productivity due to the distraction factor of Slack when used in an office setting could negatively impact HubSpot’s software sales. Some managers may not want their employees using Slack due to the plethora of distractions available within the app itself such as games, apps, videos, etc. This translates into lost sales for HubSpot’s software products like their CRM or analytics tops. Slack may also negatively affect customer service interactions between companies and potential customers. A manager may not want his/her employee using Slack during business hours due to the distractions mentioned above. If this happens, then this could have an effect on revenue generation as well as customer satisfaction due to lack of responsiveness from company representatives during business hours. These potential negative impacts on revenue generation and customer satisfaction would negatively affect HubSpot’s reputation as a company overall. For this reason, many believe that Slack may not be compatible with the entire HubSpot suite of products, despite its popularity among employees within organizations today. This has led HubSpot executives to express concern about Slack’s integration with HubSpot’s software products. A spution would be for HubSpot executives to create an API with Slack so that they could integrate the two platforms more seamlessly without disrupting workflows or interfering with productivity between employees and clients/customers.

Of those who joined via referral, 90% joined through word-of-mouth versus 10% coming through paid marketing campaigns (which include social media advertising. At least 720 companies in 60 countries use Slack internally (mostly small and medium-sized companies), including 10% of Fortune 500 companies like IBM, Tesla Motors, Bank of America, NBCUniversal, Sephora, Spotify and Facebook. All Fortune 500 companies had at least tried Slack in 2015 though only 50% were still using it actively after trialing it (the rest stopped using it once they tested it out. Despite its recent success and large number of active users, Slack has yet to turn a profit unlike its competitors such as Microsoft Teams or Yammer though it does have plans in place for monetization given its increasing popularity within organizations worldwide. Slack is currently a free service though its creators do have plans for monetization based on its success thus far including premium features such as enhanced security features and custom APIs for developers looking to integrate third-party services into Slack (such as Google Drive or MailChimp. There are also plans for its creators to begin selling data about how people communicate within Slack via an analytics dashboard (though there is no specific timeline set for this yet. Due to its growing popularity within organizations worldwide, it is likely that Slack will turn a profit in the future given its plans for monetization. Though many competitors already exist within the market space that offer similar services as Slack (such as Hipchat above), none have yet to gain significant traction within organizations worldwide like Slack has managed to do over the past few years given its word-of-mouth spread among freelancers and small businesses around the world. As a result of its increasing popularity among smaller organizations worldwide, Slack Technpogies Inc continues to grow the size of its workforce at a rapid pace year over year (slowing down slightly since 2016. while focusing heavily on customer acquisition efforts such as SEO strategies, advertising efforts (primarily via Facebook), content marketing strategies (primarily via blog posts), speaking engagements at conferences around the world, etc while avoiding spending too much money on paid marketing campaigns until such time as it turns a profit in order to remain profitable long term!
