HubSpot is a marketing and sales software company headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts. They have raised over $140 million from venture capitalists. As of April 2017, HubSpot had more than 13,000 customers in more than 150 countries.

HubSpot was founded by Brian Halligan and Dharmesh Shah, both of whom had previously worked at the same consulting firm, which was acquired by IBM. When they left to start their own companies they met at a party and saw a mutual interest in online marketing. They soon began working together and launched HubSpot in June 2006.
