It was founded by Brian Halligan and Dharmesh Shah who are the co-founders and also the chief executive officer of the firm. The firm was established in 2006 and it has its headquarters in Cambridge, Massachusetts. In 2009, it received funding of $2 million from venture capital firm Pparis Partners. Its products include a web-based platform that is used to manage large marketing campaigns that are targeted at customer segments.
