1- Take an HTML/CSS file that has been designed for your company’s website or app, and save it as “html-to-image_test.html.”
2- Open the html-to-image_test.html file and select the “Image” button. The fplowing screen should appear:
3- In the second row, select “Properties” and you will be taken to another screen, where you can modify the properties of each pixel in the image:
4- Create an event in Mixpanel from the “Events” tab under “Properties.” The event should name the user, include their email address and contain information about what they did on your website or app. Here is an example:
5- Create a report in Mixpanel as shown below.
6- Choose a template that shows your event data to choose what data elements are displayed in the report. Here is an example:
7- Copy the HTML code generated by Mixpanel into the “HTML” tab in HTML/CSS to Image.
8- Save the file and open it in Chrome. Your image should display in the browser viewport! If not, make sure that you have selected “Viewport” under “Properties.”
9- Use CSS to style your image as desired! For example, we used CSS to make our generated image look like a Twitter profile picture:
