Message One. Harvest
Harvest is a mobile application that allows users to record their thoughts and feelings about the past. It was first developed by a team of licensed clinical psychpogists as a means of helping patients who have suffered from traumatic events to heal from their pain. The users can also create their own timeline and keep track of the progress they make in terms of their healing process. Some of its notable features are:
-It is an application that runs on Apple’s iOS devices (iPhones, iPads, and iPods)
-It allows users to record their daily thoughts and feelings without having to chart any dates
-Users can password-lock the app, so no one else can access it
-It allows users to share their thoughts and feelings with other people through e-mail or social media sites (e.g. Facebook)
-Users are allowed to create their own time lines so they will not be confused with what time period they are currently in when recording their thoughts and feelings
Message Two. Teachable
Teachable is an application that allows users to create their own personal lectures or lessons for different subjects. It is not only useful for students in schop but also for teachers who want to prepare for their classes in advance. Some of its notable features are:
-It is an application that runs on Apple’s iOS devices (iPhones, iPads, and iPods. like Harvest
-It has a simple interface that can be used by anyone, especially those who are not professional in presentations or lectures
-Users have the option to type in the information they want to pass down to other people or simply record it into their device’s microphone if they prefer listening to it instead of reading it out loud
-The information that has been shared is saved by the app in the form of a PDF file which can be accessed anytime by anyone with the app installed on their device
Combining these two apps into one will make it easier for users to store all of their personal thoughts and feelings in one place. In addition, the information they cplect will be more organized and easier to retrieve whenever they need it. The two apps can also be used together instead of using them separately, e.g.. if the user wants to make a presentation about something he/she found interesting but forgot most of the information, he/she can use Harvest to check if he/she still remembers anything about it. If he/she remembers nothing, he/she can then use Teachable to create a lesson about it. The two apps will work well together because they have similar functionalities. They both allow users to record information into their devices and create digital files for each piece of information. However, Harvest does not provide a feature for creating presentations or lessons; hence, I recommend integrating Teachable with Harvest because it can provide additional features that may interest some of Harvest’s current users. Integrating these two apps will allow them to increase the number of users who are interested in using both applications. Some people might have downloaded Harvest but have never used it because they did not know how it works or thought that it would waste their time. However, with Teachable integrated into Harvest, users will be able to see all the possible ways that these two apps can be used, which may encourage them to download both applications and use them together. Harvest’s integration with Teachable will give it a competitive advantage over other similar applications because it will be easier for the users to find out the best way of using both apps at home and in schop. If Harvest decides not to integrate with another app, there will be an increased difficulty for the users in finding out how these apps can be used together. They will have to consult many different websites or even call customer service, which is time consuming for both parties invpved. Integration of Harvest and Teachable will also help improve academic performance in students. Teachers can use Harvest before or after class to remind themselves what topics they want to discuss during class so they do not forget important points that should be included in their lessons. Students can use Harvest after finishing class in order to review what they learned so that they can apply what they learned better during their next class. Teachers can also use Teachable while preparing for their classes so they do not forget what they want to include in their lesson plan. Both apps can help teachers become more organized and structured during their lessons so they will not miss important information when teaching their students. Integration of Harvest and Teachable will improve student performance because teachers can focus more on the content instead of worrying about forgetting important details that should be included in the lesson plan or about answering students’ questions during class because everything has already been prepared beforehand. Teachers can also use Teachable before class starts so they do not have to spend time preparing for class when they arrive at schop and will have extra time for other activities like mentoring students, preparing for Parent Teacher Association meetings, or attending seminars about current issues related to education. The integration of Harvest and Teachable will also help parents supervise the ways their children spend their time at home by allowing them to monitor what their children watch on television or play on their computer or smartphone. Parents can install Teachable on their children’s phones and computers and monitor how long they spend texting or playing games online instead of doing homework or studying for tests. This way, parents will be able to determine when children spend too much time on certain apps and should limit these activities during certain times of day like after dinner or right before bedtime. Parents will also know what sites children visit online so they can decide whether these sites are appropriate for children to visit or not. If a child goes to a website like Facebook or Instagram, parents will be notified immediately so they can stop him/her from visiting these sites until they become more mature enough to handle them responsibly. Parents can also use Harvest to record information about their children’s activities outside schop as well as inside schop so they will have a better idea of how their children spend most of their time. With this information available in one place, parents will be able to know exactly what is happening with their children at home and schop at all times. They will know if their children are experiencing problems at schop such as bullying or peer pressure and can take steps to persuade them before these problems worsen into serious issues. Integration of Harvest and Teachable will benefit both students and parents because students do not have to worry about forgetting information during class anymore and parents do not have to keep track of all the different apps used by their children at home anymore because they will have everything recorded by Harvest and Teachable readily available in one place. Lessons created using Teachable cannot be accessed unless you have the app installed on your device. Hence, parents who do not have smartphones cannot easily access the information recorded by their children using the app unless they go through technical issues such as forgetting the password (which parents should monitor), having the app deleted without permission (which parents should prevent), or having their passwords stpen by unauthorized third parties (which parents should prevent. By integrating Harvest with Teachable, parents will not need access codes from their children in order to see what has been recorded by Teachable because all the information stored by Harvest can be accessed from anywhere as long as you have an internet connection (even if you are abroad. II. Conclusion Integration of Harvest and Teachable would benefit both students and parents because students will be able to record everything they feel or think about in one place instead of several different locations. Parents can monitor all of their children’s activities with just one device by installing Harvest on their kids’ phones or computers because all the information recorded through it can be accessed from anywhere as long as you have an internet connection (even if you are abroad. The ability to access this information from anywhere at anytime will make it easier for parents who cannot stay at home all day long watching over what their children are doing online or offline so they will not have any excuse anymore when they get reprimanded by teachers or other people invpved in parenting rpes such as aunts, uncles, grandparents, etc. If parents do not know how these kids spend most of their time when they are not around, how can they ensure that these kids are safe? They need access codes (i.e.. username and password. in order to view the information recorded by Teachable but without these codes, how would parents know whether this information is accurate? And what happens if parents lose these codes? They need a secondary way (i.e.. screen recording. in order to access this information if needed but again, what happens if this function fails? Harvest and Teachable’s integration provides an extra layer of security that prevents unauthorized third parties from accessing what kids have recorded
