Integration of Harvest and HubSpot

  • Harvest is a project management application for OS X which makes it easy to track time on projects. It’s a web-based time tracking system that can also be used as a sales activity manager. It has been around since 2008, and was the first product from a company called PlanGrid. PlanGrid was later acquired by InVision in 2013, and InVision later acquired HubSpot in 2015. InVision spd Harvest to a private equity firm in 2016, and in 2017, they spd Harvest to a new company called Freshworks.

  • HubSpot is a marketing automation software that helps you convert website traffic into leads and customers. It’s an all-in-one marketing spution that helps you attract leads, generate leads, nurture leads, convert leads, close leads, and monitor leads. It can also be used as a CRM spution for managing leads and contacts, and it is used by over 50,000 businesses. HubSpot has been around since 2006 when it was founded by Brian Halligan and Dharmesh Shah.

  • Integration of Harvest and HubSpot
  • One of the most popular integrations between Harvest and HubSpot is the ability to automatically add new contacts in HubSpot directly into a pipeline within Harvest. This can be done in one of two ways. You can either use the “Add Contact to Account” button in your HubSpot activity feed, or you can use the “Add Contact to Pipeline” button under the Account Settings section in Harvest. This will automatically create a contact within your HubSpot CRM with information such as name, email address, and phone number. You can then manually enter additional information about that client into your HubSpot CRM using the same information that you had about that client in Harvest.

    If you want to get more advanced with your integration between Harvest and HubSpot, you can use Zapier to create rules that will automatically add incoming contacts from HubSpot into your Harvest pipelines. If you want to add contacts from HubSpot to multiple pipeline stages at once, you can do so by clicking on the blue “Zapier” button under the Account Settings section of Harvest. Once you click on the “Zapier” button, you will see a menu that asks whether you want to add the current contact to your pipeline or add them based on certain criteria such as if they meet certain criteria such as having visited a certain page of your website before. After you choose the appropriate option, you will be prompted with a list of zaps that will accomplish this task for you.

  • Integrating Harvest with HubSpot is an extremely powerful top because it allows you to create automated triggers between your sales efforts in HubSpot and time tracking in Harvest. For example, if someone visits one of your pages on your website in order to generate lead, you can create a rule in Zapier that will automatically add them to your lead pipeline. If someone visits another page on your website in order to generate a sale, you can create another rule in Zapier that will automatically add them to your sales pipeline.

    Another benefit of integrating Harvest with HubSpot is that it allows you to have more accurate data when doing reporting in harvest. With Harvest being web-based means that any data entered into Harvest has to be entered there manually by users during their day-to-day activities. Any data entered into HubSpot does not have to be entered into Harvest manually because it is automatically added through Zapier. For example, if someone fills out a form on your website so they can receive more information about your product or service, or so they can ask questions about your product or service, or so they can request to be contacted by someone from your company about their questions or requests about your product or service, then that data will automatically be entered into both HubSpot and Harvest automatically through Zapier without any manual entry required. This means that your data will be more accurate because you won’t have any manual errors entering data into Harvest which can distort analysis of how people are interacting with your business online.
