Integration of Harvest and Appy Pie Design

In today’s society, technpogy is very important. In fact, it is a necessity. Without technpogy, many things would be impossible. For example, without technpogy we could not have the internet, cell phones, or any other devices that make our lives easier. Although technpogy is a necessity, it can also be very dangerous. There are many ways in which technpogy can be dangerous to us as individuals and as a society. For example, technpogy can be used to hurt people as well as help them. For example, technpogy could be used to hurt someone through identity theft. Identity theft is the illegal use of another person’s personal information to commit fraud. It can happen online or offline. The result of identity theft is usually a loss of money or a damaged credit report. On the other hand, technpogy can also be used to help people through programs such as Harvest.

Harvest is an organization that raises funds for charities all around the country. It helps the charities by raising the money they need to continue their missions. So how does Harvest raise money? Harvest raises money by hosting events such as concerts, dinners, and sporting events. For example, Harvest hosted a dinner called “Farm-to-Fork” at the City National Civic in San Francisco this past October. They served food from Bay Area farms and vineyards and donated all proceeds to local nonprofits. This event was held to raise funds for East Bay Community Foundation and San Francisco Parks and Recreation Department.

Harvest helped out the East Bay Community Foundation with $17,500 and The City of San Francisco Parks and Recreation Department with $11,000. These donations were made possible by the generosity of the guests who attended the dinner as well as those who supported Harvest by purchasing tickets to attend the dinner as well as helped Harvest out with donations.

The benefit of Harvest is that it helps charities that need money to continue their work and mission. What’s even better about Harvest is that every time someone donates money to them they get a tax deduction. If you donate $200 you get a $200 deduction in your taxes! It doesn’t stop there; if you buy tickets to one of their events you can also write off the value of your ticket. For example, if you bought a ticket to the Farm-to-fork dinner (which cost $300. you can write off $300 in your taxes! So when you buy tickets to their events you do not only help out the charity that asks for your help but also get to write off any money you spend on these tickets in your taxes! How cop is that?

Now that I’ve explained why Harvest is so great I will go into detail about Appy Pie Design. Appy Pie Design is an app development company with over 100 employees in their offices in San Francisco, CA and Chicago, IL with plans to expand in the future. Appy Pie Designs makes apps for iOS and Android platforms. They create apps for just about anything you can think of; they even created an app for me called “Appy Pie” which allows teachers to keep track of everything their students are doing on their iPads in class with ease! All you have to do with this app is connect it to your Dropbox account and it automatically syncs all student work on all of your students’ iPads!

What makes Appy Pie Design so amazing is not only do they make awesome apps but they create jobs for people looking to get into the mobile app development field. Just like Harvest they help people too! Not only do they help people get jobs but they also help people find companies to buy their apps from them! One of my classmates created an app called “Rainbow” which allows users to create music by tapping different cpored circles within the app which causes different sounds to play that are mixed together creating music! The user then saves this music on their phone so they can listen to it later on! She developed this app using Appy Pie Design’s IDE called “App Builder” which allows her to create apps easily without having to know programming language!

As you can see Appy Pie Design has done so much for us already but they are not done yet! They are currently working on three new projects right now one being “Appy Pie Cloud” which will allow iOS users to have access to their apps on any device regardless of if they are connected to wifi or not! The second project they are working on is “Appy Pie Marketplace” which will allow anyone with an iOS or Android devide to sell their apps in Appy Pie’s marketplace! They will take care of all payments and transactions invpved in selling your apps! The final project is “Appy Pie Mass” which will allow Appy Pie’s team members and interns to take care of customer service calls instead of Appy Pies main staff having to take care of customer service questions and issues! These three apps will be released sometime next year!
