Habitica and Spotify both provide great services and have been very useful for me. I have been using Habitica, which is a web application that helps users to form good habits. It consists of a virtual pet known as a dailies task that gets fed gpd, food, and health as you do dailies. If you fail to do a dailies task, your pet will lose health. But if you manage to complete your dailies tasks every day, your pet will level up and will have more health. If you complete a dailies task for a certain number of consecutive days , you will earn a new quest. Quests are a good way to achieve your goals. Habitica uses points from quests to improve your stats such as strength, intelligence, wisdom, etc. This system can be used to form any habit that you want. In this article, I will compare the benefits of integrating Habitica with Spotify.
(Paragraphs 2-4)
It is very easy to integrate Habitica with Spotify. If you have a habit of listening to music while doing other activities such as studying or working, you can integrate Habitica with Spotify by simply adding a work to listen to a song or an artist to a dailies task. You can also use Spotify’s playlists to create tasks. For example, if you want to listen to all the songs of an artist, you can create a task called “Listen to the songs of Artist X” and add the artist’s name in it. However, there are some limitations when using this method. First of all, you cannot specify the amount of time that you will be listening to that artist’s songs or songs of any specific genre. Also, if you want to listen to just one song of an artist, you cannot do that. And lastly, you cannot do anything else while listening to Spotify. There are some ways around these limitations. For example, if you want to listen to all the songs of an artist for 30 minutes, you can create two tasks; one called “Listen to Artist X” and another called “Listen to the songs of Artist X” with the same objective of listening to all the songs of Artist X but with different objectives (listen for 30 minutes. Another way is to create three tasks with 30 minute time limit (one called “Listen to Artist X” with objective listening to all the songs of Artist X, another called “Listen to the songs of Artist X” with objective listening to songs of Artist X but only for 30 minutes, and another called “Playlist of Artist X” with objective listening to all the songs of Artist X. The “Playlist of Artist X” task can have multiple objectives because it is not allocated with dailies task points so it does not matter how many times you complete it. There are some other ways but they are similar to these ways.
