I will start my article by stating what is Habitica and what is Office 365. Habitica is a productivity app that allows you to keep track of your habits and tasks in a virtual world. It is free to use and available on Android, iOS, and web. Office 365 is a suite of apps from Microsoft that help you to communicate, cplaborate, and work together. The suite includes apps such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, and Outlook. In this article I will discuss the integration of Habitica and Office 365.
I will talk about how Habitica can be used in conjunction with Office 365. First I will discuss how you can integrate a task in Office 365 into a Habit in Habitica. You can add a task directly in Office 365 or in a SharePoint site using the task pane. Click the SharePoint task pane to add a task. Click the task pane to add an actionable item when creating a SharePoint task. After you add a task in Office 365, add the name of it in Habitica. This will link both accounts so that when you complete the task in Office 365, it will automatically update the status of the task in Habitica.
Next I will talk about how you can integrate an Office 365 group into Habitica. You can create a group in Office 365 to share information among coworkers or friends. You can then connect that group to Habitica. When you do this, all of the tasks on the group's Outlook will appear on your Habitica profile under Tasks tab on the project tab on your profile page. If you have assigned a due date on any of the tasks, they will appear with a little clock icon on your Habitica profile under Tasks tab on the project tab on your profile page. Finally, any achievements that are achieved within the group will appear on your Habitica profile under the Achievements tab of your profile page. This way you can monitor all of your tasks outdoors of Outlook without having to switch between applications.
Habitica can be used alongside Microsoft Office 365 to make sure that tasks are completed and projects are finished on time. The two programs are great tops for increasing efficiency at work at home. I hope that I have convinced you of this.
