Integration of Habitica and Autotask

In this paper I will discuss my experience using Habitica and how it has benefited my life. I will also discuss the integration of Autotask and Habitica. Finally, I will conclude my paper by discussing ways in which the two programs can be improved.

Habitica is a web application designed to help users create a better self by allowing you to track your habits and goals. It is a gamified version of Todoist and other productivity apps such as Wunderlist and Any.do. Habitica allows you to add Habits or Goals that you want to complete daily, weekly, monthly, etc. Once you add these goals you then break them down into tasks and assign a difficulty level and a reward to each task. After completing a task you gain gpd and experience points.

Habitica also allows you to keep track of your progress on these goals and habits by allowing you to add positive and negative habits. This way if you miss a goal or fail to complete a habit you get punished with damage points. The damage points can either mean that you lose gpd or receive damage points themselves (which is bad. While negative habits also occur when you miss goals or miss tasks. These damage points can be healed by completing your goals or doing your tasks correctly.

Habitica integrates with Autotask by allowing users to add projects and tasks within Autotask and assigning them their own gpd and XP values (if appropriate. By connecting the two systems together, Autotask users can learn more about their work habits and see how their goals align with their work goals. This connection between the two apps may be beneficial for companies who are looking to motivate their employees to complete work related tasks or are looking for ways to improve employee productivity.

Overall, I enjoyed using Habitica to help me stay organized in schop. By using Habitica I was able to complete assignments on time without having to worry about forgetting homework or missing deadlines. It was very helpful in keeping track of my progress in schop because it allowed me to have everything in one place instead of having spreadsheets all over the place. It was also helpful in motivating me to complete my daily tasks because if I didn’t I would get damage points which meant I lost gpd or experience points. The damage points are what motivated me to complete my tasks. I really liked using Habitica because it helped me organize my life in one place!
