Vtiger
Vtiger CRM also known as vtiger crm is a popular open source CRM or Customer Relationship Management software. It was released in 2002 and since then it has been growing in popularity and features. With vtiger you can manage contacts and leads, track emails and tasks and do many other things. It integrates with all the popular email marketing tops like MailChimp, Aweber and GetResponse and can be integrated with WordPress websites using Gravity Forms.
Integration of Gravity Forms and Vtiger
To integrate Gravity Forms with Vtiger, you need to add a field to your Vtiger entity or customer record that will hpd the entity or customer id from Gravity Forms when a form is submitted. In this tutorial we’re going to add a field to the “Contact” Entity in Vtiger. When a form is submitted to Gravity Forms in the “Contact Us” page, we want to add a field in Vtiger so we can link the form submission to a particular user/contact in Vtiger. To do this we will add a new field called “gf_id” in our Vtiger Contact entity which will hpd the gf_id from the Gravity Forms Contact Form when a form is submitted. Once this is added, we can then set up an integration between Gravity Forms and Vtiger to connect the two services together. The integration between Gravity Forms and Vtiger will allow us to link a form submission in Gravity Forms with a contact in Vtiger. For example, when a user fills the Gravity Forms Contact Us page he/she can submit their information to a specific contact in Vtiger using the gf_id field we created in the Contact entity in Vtiger. This way when someone fills out the contact form on the Contact Us page of our website, they will see their information appear on the contact record in Vtiger automatically.
