Integration of Gravity Forms and MeisterTask

  • Gravity Forms is a WordPress plugin that allows the user to create customized form fields for his/her website. It also allows the user to embed forms into posts, pages, and widgets. It has many different options to choose from when creating a form, such as radio buttons, checkboxes, file uploads, image uploads, textareas, dropdowns, etc. Furthermore, it has many different validation options. Some of these are required fields, mininum length, maxinum length, credit card types, credit card numbers, ZIP codes, phone numbers, email addresses, etc. Gravity Forms also has an option called conditional logic. Conditional logic allows you to set up rule based conditions for form submissions. For example, if the answer to one of the questions is yes then skip another one. Or if someone selects a certain option in a list of options then skip several more. There are many possibilities for conditional logic. Gravity Forms can be used to handle contact forms for client feedback on web sites or email forms for newsletters. The only limits are the users imagination.

  • MeisterTask?
  • MeisterTask is an online task management software that can be accessed through any computer with internet access. It was created by the same people who created Gravity Forms. MeisterTask integrates with Gravity Forms. This means that Gravity Forms can be used with MeisterTask to create tasks within MeisterTask that link back to the associated contacts in Gravity Forms. This is very helpful when it comes to keeping track of clients and customers because each person can have their own task list in MeisterTask based on their interactions with the user. For example, if someone creates an order in Gravity Forms using the order form created in Gravity Forms then they automatically get added to the customer list in MeisterTask and they automatically get added to the corresponding task list in MeisterTask related to that specific order. This way everything stays in one place and is updated automatically when anything changes in the other program in which it has been integrated with. Gravity Forms basically just adds information in MeisterTask in order to keep track of all of the interactions between the user and the client/customer.

  • As previously mentioned, Gravity Forms is able to integrate with MeisterTask so that when someone fills out a form on your website using Gravity Forms then all of their information gets added to a specific task list in MeisterTask based on the content of your form. The next step is going to be going through how you can integrate these two programs to make this happen. First, you will need a free account for both programs. I’m not going to go through how to set up an account for either program because there are already detailed tutorials for that on their websites. Next step is going to be going into Gravity Forms settings and setting up the task integration. After you have logged into your MeisterTask account from your computer you will need to get your API key from MeisterTask. In order to do this you will have to click on “Settings” on the right side of the screen and then you will have to click on “General”. After you have clicked on “General” a drop down menu should appear and you should click on “API Key”. You will have to click on “Generate New Key” and then copy the value from the window that appears after you have clicked generate new key. Now go back into your Gravity Form settings and create a blank field named “meister_task_api” and paste what you copied from MeisterTask into the value box for this field. When you save this your gravity form will be all set up and ready to go! To test this out take a look at one of the forms on my website (http://www.jeniferjamesonline.com/services/. When you fill out one of these forms and submit it your contact information will automatically be added to your contact records in your MyTasks area in MeisterTask.

  • The main benefit of using Gravity Forms with MeisterTask is time saving. It takes a lot less time to create a task list than it does to create a full page about someone and add it to your website every time you interact with them. Furthermore, integrating these two programs saves desktop space because instead of having 3 separate windows open when you use them together you only have one. MeisterTask. Another major benefit is security in terms of both privacy and security when it comes to your website visitors and clients/customers. If you use both programs together then only what is relevant about each person will be shown when they visit your website or when they view their own tasks depending on what type of rpe they play with you (client or customer. in relation to your website. Also if they aren’t meant to see something on your website because they haven’t filled out a form yet then there is no way for them to see it even if they try looking at it because once a contact has been added to a task list in MeisterTask there isn’t even a way for them to see what task lists they are part of unless they sign into their own account in MeisterTask from their own computer using their own username and password that they created when they signed up for their account in MeisterTask! Also there are many different options for security for each individual field within Gravity Forms so that if someone has filled out a form on your website there is no way for them to edit any of the information in their contact record in your MyTasks section in MeisterTask unless it has been specifically given permissions by you or someone else who may have access to it in your organization or network.
