Integration of Gravity Forms and Mattermost
Gravity Forms is a software plugin that allows you to create forms on your website, which can be used to get feedback from your customers or sell products. The forms can be created and customized to fit any requirement. You can add fields to the form such as text boxes, drop down lists, radio buttons and checkboxes and also add conditional logic and calculations. Gravity Forms generates a WordPress shortcode that you can embed in your page and display the form.

It is very easy to integrate Gravity Forms with Mattermost. You can use the Gravity Forms integration provided by Mattermost and connect it to your account on their site. All you need to do is enter your Mattermost username and API key. You can download the Gravity Forms Integration Add-on from the Mattermost Apps Marketplace. After you install it on your site, you will be able to see all your Mattermost channels listed in the left menu. The integration displays the message feed from all the channels you are subscribed to, along with the members in each channel. It also shows you all the messages you have sent in the past week, along with the number of replies they received. It also lets you send messages directly from your website using your Mattermost credentials.
To install this add-on, go to Settings -> Addons -> Install From Repo -> Apps Marketplace -> Search for “Gravity Forms” -> Install.
The integration has some limitations. If you receive a message notification in Mattermost, it will only show up in the addon if you are currently logged into your account in WordPress or if Mattermost is open in a browser tab or window. This means that if you are not logged in, there is no way for users to reply to messages without opening Mattermost in another tab or window. Additionally, when you have notifications turned on, the addon only shows the total number of unread messages instead of showing how many notifications there are per channel. These limitations are not major shortcomings but may affect the usability of the integration in certain situations.
