  • How to Install/Configure Gravity Forms
  • Download the latest version of Gravity Forms from the official website.
  • Unzip the contents into a fpder on your computer.
  • Log in to your WordPress admin panel.
  • Go to Plugins > Add New. In the text box that reads “Search Plugins” type in “gravity forms” in the search bar and click Search Plugins. The search results should show Gravity Forms at the top of the list. You may need to scrpl down to find it. Click Install Now and then Activate Plugin.
  • Under Settings > Gravity Forms you will see Configuration. Configure various options including:
  • – Registration page URL – this is the page the visitor sees when he/she registers for your website using your form. This can be any page you want on your site but it should have the “register” shortcode in it so you can access it later when configuring forms. If none of your pages have this shortcode, go to Appearance > Editor and paste the code into your theme’s header file (header.php.

    – Contact page URL – this is the page the visitor sees when he/she fills out your contact form and clicks “send”. This can be any page you want on your site but must have the “contact-form” shortcode in it so you can access it later when configuring forms. If none of your pages have this shortcode, go to Appearance > Editor and paste the code into your theme’s header file (header.php. Then create a new page on your site with this same code and name it “Contact Form” or something similar.

  • Configure the form fields on your site using the “add new form” option found at Appearance > Editor > Sidebars > Content > Add New:

You can also create various custom fields that can be added to forms, such as dropdown menus.
