The integration of Gravity Forms and Acuity Scheduling will allow users to add their form data to the scheduling calendar and receive appointment reminders via email.
In order to integrate Gravity Forms and Acuity Scheduling, it is necessary to have both plugins installed on one website. It is important not to enable the Gravity Forms integration unless you have been given permission by the Form Designer to do so. Otherwise, you may cause problems for yourself. To enable the integration, navigate to the Gravity Forms tab, then click “Form Settings” and select “Integration Options.”
In order to display upcoming appointments from Acuity Scheduling in the form, you will need to check the box labeled “Display Appointments from Acuity Scheduling.” Press “Save Changes” when finished.
Next, we will need to add a Space ID to the form. This will be a unique string of characters that identifies the space where the event is going to take place. You would most likely want this to be the same as the venue name or street address, so it is easy for the client to find. You can get the Space ID by hovering over the “Event Space” drop-down menu under “Event Information” in Acuity Scheduling. Then press “Add New” at the top right corner. You will be taken back to your event page with the Space ID automatically added at the end of the URL. Copy this number and paste it into your form builder. Repeat this step as many times as necessary depending on how many locations are going to use this particular form.
