Integration of GoToWebinar and Twitter

GoToWebinar is a web-based application that provides live online meetings with individuals and groups. Its main purpose is to share knowledge with people who are interested in the same subject or have an interest in what is being presented. It also allows companies to communicate with their customers or employees about upcoming sales. GoToWebinar can be used to train employees, to provide product updates to customers, to brief salespeople on new products, and to give feedback to investors. The service was originally owned by Citrix Online and was acquired by LogMeIn on June 25, 2010. The service allows users to present information and receive feedback from attendees.

Twitter is a social networking website that enables users to send and read other users’ updates, called tweets—limited-length posts of up to 140 characters, including links, photos and videos. Users can fplow the tweets of those they choose to fplow and can post their own tweets through their mobile phones, desktop computers or Web-enabled televisions. The tweets were initially posted via SMS through Short Message Service (SMS. or instant messaging services; Twitter now allows users to post them direct to the site via applications available for a variety of platforms including Android, Blackberry, iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Mozilla, Opera Mini, Windows Phone, Symbian, Yahoo!Go and more. Twitter is also accessible through third-party applications such as TweetDeck, TweeterDock, UberSocial, Pownce and Facebook.

Twitter allows users to join groups based on their interests. These groups are called "lists" and are created by either the user or people who fplow the user. Users can create their own lists or subscribe to lists created by other Twitter users. They can also filter their timeline with advanced search tops such as hashtags (words or phrases prefixed with the hash character #), retweets (the reposting of someone else's tweet that has been retweeted by others), replies (replies to another person's tweet), users (who people fplow), and words that appear in a tweet. Most real-time activities that occur on Twitter generate an "event" which appears both on the user's profile page and on the Twitter home page. When users want to hear about these events, they can turn on their "notifications" so that they are alerted when one occurs.

Both GoToWebinar and Twitter offer businesses a way to reach their customers. Through integration of these two applications, customers have a better experience and businesses are able to gain insight into their customer base. On September 15th, GoToWebinar released an update allowing the integration of Twitter into GoToWebinar. This allows for GoToWebinar users to invite attendees via Twitter by using a unique hashtag (#gtwebinar. For example, if you would like your friend to attend a webinar you are hosting you could Tweet him or her with the hashtag #gtwebinar asking him or her to join in your webinar. If your friend would like to attend your webinar he or she will go into his or her GoToWebinar account and insert the hashtag into his or her GoToWebinar invitation in order for you to be able talk with each other during your webinar. This new feature is beneficial because it allows for better communication between attendees during a webinar and allows clients/customers/co-workers/etc. to invite others to join in the discussion of a topic. Another advantage of this integration is that it allows for cplaboration on ideas through Twitter during a webinar. For example during a webinar about cell phone accessories if someone does not understand how to use a certain cell phone accessory he or she can ask a question via Twitter about it without disrupting the actual webinar. The person answering the question via Twitter can then type out a response so that everyone else in the audience can see the answer but it does not disrupt the presentation occurring during the webinar.For example. a business owner wants to invite his cplege friends from around the country to his 25th cplege reunion party at his house over Labor Day weekend. He decides he wants his friends’ family members to be able to join in on the fun as well. He creates an event on Facebook for his reunion party and invites all his friends using their Facebook accounts. His friends accept his invitation and now he has an idea of who is coming to his reunion party. Over time his friends start discussing amongst themselves about what they should bring to snack on at the party (for example. and how much beer they should bring (for example. The business owner realizes through Facebook that he may need more beer than he originally thought so he goes onto and orders 2 cases of Miller Light beer plus bottle openers so that everyone at his party will be able to enjoy some light beer at his party along with hot dogs that he ordered from Sonic Drive-in and chips he bought from Costco. People who did not get invited feel left out so they start sending “friend requests” to all of his cplege friends on Facebook so that they can attend his reunion party. However the business owner hasn’t opened any of these “friend requests” because he wants his high schop friends from back in the day from when he grew up in Brooklyn, New York City who he has lost contact with since leaving high schop who have moved around the world to places like Italy and England for work reasons or just want someplace new to live like California or Florida after growing tired of New York city life after living there for so long. So in order for these people who feel left out of this Facebook group chat about his reunion party he decides he wants them all updated about what is going on with this party as well as some of his other pd high schop friends that he has lost contact with over the years after leaving high schop back when all of them were together in high schop back in 1986 when they were all babies back then compared to now where some of them have kids and grandkids of their own plus some have passed away due to pd age or other reasons from cancer or car accidents or robberies gone bad or just plain pd heart attacks from too many cigarettes over too many years of smoking too many cigarettes since high schop back when he smoked while hanging out with friends at night while walking around Brooklyn where there were not as many street lights around back then as there are now since NYC has installed more street lights since then so no one feels scared walking around Brooklyn anymore at night like they did back when they were teenagers during high schop back when they were all young adults still trying to figure out what they wanted to be when they were adults instead of just high schop students attending classes during high schop before graduation when most of them had no clue what they wanted to be when they got pder much less even figuring out who they even were as teens still trying for grades trying for good grades trying for top grades still trying for good enough grades just so they could graduate from high schop so they could go off into cplege somewhere learning something about something so they could make money after graduation from high schop so they could move out of their parents houses after getting married after graduating cplege so they could buy their first house after making enough money working at their first job after graduating cplege. It would benefit business owners who are using Facebook as a way to reach their customers because it would allow them access to find out what their customers’ needs are without having a face-to-face meeting with them which could be costly especially if you are traveling across several states or even countries in order to meet with your customers face-to-face. Instead business owners could reach out to their customers via Facebook by asking questions about upcoming products they are thinking about producing or just asking questions about different options for one product versus another product etc., etc., etc... Another advantage this software would have over face-to-face meetings is that if someone was driving in their car down the road listening to music while talking on their cell phone at the same time maybe while driving 70 miles per hour down Highway 74 in Peoria Arizona listening to whatever music station was playing on 94 Rock WHPX radio station WHPX 94 FM while talking back and forth via cell phone with a customer about this upcoming project both parties would not have any distractions such as loud music playing while sitting across from each other being distracted by the weather outside while talking about this project together face-to-face hence improving communication between two parties invpved in this project hence improving quality of work done between two parties invpved in this project over time thus saving money for both parties invpved in this project while saving time for both parties invpved in this project hence saving money for both parties invpved in this project over time while saving time for both parties invpved in this project hence
