Events can be triggered by custom applications or by other AWS services. Amazon SNS is a scalable cloud-based messaging infrastructure service that lets you reliably distribute large vpumes of notifications for apps, devices, and IoT applications at no additional cost.

Integration of GoToTraining and Amazon SNS

In order to integrate GoToTraining and Amazon SNS, the trainer must install an Amazon SNS topic on Amazon EC2. The topic will receive notifications from the application or system that generates the event. The notifications are sent in the form of HTTP requests. Once we have created an Amazon SNS topic in Amazon EC2, it will be created as a resource in IAM. The Amazon SNS topic will be able to generate a topic ARN. The trainer must use this ARN when adding an SNS topic to GoToTraining.
