Integration of Google Tasks and Google Tasks

Google Tasks is a free, online task manager from Google. In addition to task management, Google Tasks also integrates with other Google products, including Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Docs. For example, if you create a new task in Google Tasks, you can set it as a reminder in Google Calendar or email it to someone. You can even attach files to your tasks. Google Tasks is accessible via your web browser or through mobile apps for Android, iPhone, iPad, and BlackBerry devices.

Google Tasks is not limited to reminders about real-world tasks. It can remind you about important dates, deadlines, or events. You can even set up recurring reminders so you don't forget about them the next month. Some plans of Google Apps include more advanced features like location-based reminders, subtasks, cplaboration with others on tasks, and more.

Google Tasks is free at all times, but it is only available for users with a Google account. If you don't have a Google account yet, you can sign up for one at http://www.google.com/accounts. There are several different types of accounts, including an individual account, a business account, and an educational account. After signing up for a Google account, you will need to verify your email address before you can use Google Tasks. You can do this by clicking the link sent to your email address or by using Google's verification top at http://www.google.com/verify.

Integration of Google Tasks and Google Tasks

You can access your list of tasks in three different ways:

Your Web Browser. If you go to http://tasks.google.com, you'll see the web interface for Google Tasks. This interface looks similar to Gmail's web interface with links on the right side. The links on the right side allow you to view your list of tasks by date range (1 day, week, month, year, or all), type (such as reminders or lists), or priority (high or low. You can also view tasks that are assigned to others or that are shared with you (see below. To open Google Tasks in your web browser, simply click the "Tasks" button on the top-left of Gmail's web interface. A new tab will open with the task list loaded in the interface. You can also bookmark this page so you can quickly access it whenever you want to check your tasks (or even set it as your home page. Your Mobile Device. If you download one of the mobile apps for Google Tasks, you can access your list of tasks from anywhere you have an Internet connection. Android users can download the app from either the Android Market or from http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.tasks&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5taWRvY2FsbC5jb20iP2lsZWFyY2hpdmVkIiBpZD0iYmFiL2RlMWFlNi05MzkyLTgzOGFlYjY0YjJjNjgwYWIxOTc4YmU3YjRiYWI1In19 , while iOS users can download it from either the App Store or from http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/google-tasks/id398078663?mt=8 . Once you download and launch the app on your device, simply enter your email address and password to login and start using it. The app is very intuitive and easy to use; just tap a task to open it and tap the blue icon on the bottom left corner of the screen to add a new task. Finally, if you use multiple platforms frequently (such as Android and iOS), be sure to use the same account across all platforms so that your tasks sync between them. Your Desktop. If you prefer not to use a mobile device for quick access to your tasks, you can use the "Tasks" button on the top-left of Gmail's web interface and then click "View all mail" at the top right of Gmail's web interface. This will take you to the classic Gmail interface where your tasks will be listed in addition to your emails and chats (see Figure 1.
