  • Integration of Google Sheets and TickTick
  • Integration of Google Sheets and TickTick would be beneficial because both apps have similar features which would help students in organizing their work. Google Sheets allows users to create a spreadsheet containing data from various sources including a writing program like Microsoft Word. The app allows users to enter data from other documents into the spreadsheet without having to manually copy it (Burt 2016. However, using Microsoft Word to create an outline may be tiresome as it requires users to type all the information in the correct format. The formatting of the document would be different from the original format in which it was created. One can easily avoid this problem when using Google Sheets. This way, they can focus on getting all the information correctly without having to worry about formatting it when copying it into Google Sheets (Burt 2016. This will save them a lot of time and effort as they will not have to spend time formatting the information again.

TickTick has many features that make it easier for users to organize their work. One of these features is attaching files to their tasks. Users can attach almost any kind of file to their tasks including videos, images and documents (Chen 2015. This makes it easy for students to store all kinds of resources such as lecture notes or textbooks online so that they can access them whenever they need them. Students will be able to access these resources at any time and from anywhere as long as they have internet connection. They will not have to worry about missing class or not being able to find the information they need because they will always have them on their phones or laptops wherever they are. This way, students will not miss any important information or fall behind in their work due to lack of resources.

Currently, TickTick does not support integration with Excel sheets. However, TickTick’s developers are planning to integrate it with other services such as Google Sheets in the near future (Chen 2015. This means that Google Sheets integration in TickTick would enable users to transfer information between TickTick and Excel Spreadsheet without having to retype all the information manually (Chen 2015. Students would no longer have to worry about entering all their information into TickTick again after transferring it from Microsoft Word because they can copy and paste it directly into the spreadsheet (Chen 2015. This way, students can save time and effort by simply copying and pasting their work into the spreadsheet (Chen 2015. They will no longer have to worry about formatting it when copying it into the spreadsheet because all they will have to do is transfer all their work into TickTick where it will automatically be formatted (Chen 2015. Students will save a lot of time because they will not have to manually copy information from Microsoft Word into TickTick (Chen 2015. TickTick’s integration with other services such as Microsoft Office would also make it easier for students to access their documents from any device regardless of whether they are using a PC or an Android phone (Chen 2015. Currently, only Apple devices are supported by TickTick but this feature would enable students who use Windows or Android to access their documents from any device whether they are using TickTick or not (Chen 2015. This would increase productivity among students as they would no longer have to carry around a laptop or computer all the time..
