Body – Part 1. Integration of Google Sheets and Monkey Learn
This part explains how to integrate Monkey Learn with Google Sheets, i.e., how to install the API, how to use it, and how to extract data from Google Sheets into Monkey Learn model. This part also explains how to extract data from Monkey Learn model into Google Sheets using API. To get a better understanding of this topic we will divide it into three parts. API installation and usage, integration of Monkey Learn and Google Sheets, and extraction of data from Google Sheets into Monkey Learn model. In each section we will provide the code snippet for each step explained in the previous section.
Installing API code snippet is very easy; you just need to copy the fplowing code into your code editor and save it as a .py file — this will be your script file or script file name will be “monkeys_script” — which would be located inside data fpder of your project directory (or you can simply just copy paste the below code snippet. Once you have installed the API code snippet, go to http://api.monkeylearn.com/v2/classify?token=YourAPIKey&text=[TEXT_TO_CLASSIFY] (Replace YourAPIKey with your token key. and paste your sample text in place of [TEXT_TO_CLASSIFY]. This will call the MonkeyLearn API with your text sample and you will return with some feedback from the API about what labels are associated with the text sample submitted by you.
