Benefits of Integration of Google Photos and Xero

Google Photos

Google Photos is a cloud storage service that allows users to store, edit, and share their photos. With the integration of Google Photos and Xero, users can easily view the photos they have stored in Google Photos within the Xero app. This will allow users to quickly access photos when they need them. Users can also integrate the photos they are viewing into the Xero app so that they can eventually add them to an invoice or other document. Furthermore, users can view any photos that they have tagged in Google Photos through the Xero app, which is convenient because it saves them time in organizing their photos. Additionally, users can upload photos directly from the Xero app to their Google Photos account. When a user uploads a photo directly from the Xero app to their Google Photos account, the photo automatically comes up in the Google Photos app for easy access. This means that if users want to add a photo onto an invoice or other document, all they must do is tap on the photo in Google Photos, which automatically brings up the photo on their screen in high respution where they can edit it. If a user wants to organize their photos via fpders, they can easily do so on the Google Photos website. This will allow users to create fpders specifically for photos that appear on invoices or other documents. Once a fpder has been created and named, users can place the photos they wish to upload into the fpder and once they are placed in the fpder, the photos will automatically appear in the fpder in the Google Photos app on their device. It is important to note that once a user has placed a photo into a fpder in Google Photos, they cannot move the photo out of its respective fpder unless they remove it from the fpder first. However, this makes sense because once a photo is placed into a fpder, it should remain in that fpder. Furthermore, if a user wishes to delete a photo from Google Photos, the user must select “delete” from within the photo itself in order for the photo to be deleted off their account. This may seem inconvenient but it makes sense because if users had to go through a different process to delete a photo, it would take more time and there would be a greater chance that they would accidentally delete a photo by mistake. It should also be noted that users can see how many photos they have stored on Google Photos and how much storage space they have left by actually going on Google Photos and clicking on “My Account” at the top right hand side of their screen. This information is important because it allows users to know how much storage space they have left so that they do not unknowingly run out of storage space on Google Photos.

Xero

Xero is a cloud based accounting software program that was created by New Zealand-based company XERO Group Limited. The software is designed to make accounting easier by allowing users to manage their finances using mobile phones and computers. Xero allows users to manage bookkeeping, financial reports and taxes for their clients by accessing the software through their phones, tablets or computers. According to the Xero website under FAQ’s, “Xero is designed with small businesses in mind and simplifies bookkeeping down to just three steps. bank transactions and bills; transactions from your credit card statements; and online purchases.” The integration of Google Photos and Xero will be beneficial because it will allow users who store their photos on Google Photos to quickly access these photos whenever they need to use them with an invoice or other document in Xero. For example, if a user had taken a photo of an item that is listed on an invoice in Xero and then wanted to attach this photo onto the invoice itself, all the user would have to do is take a picture of the item with their phone and then upload the picture onto their Google Photos account. They could do this by opening up Xero on their phone and then taking a picture from within the app itself. Then, after uploading the photo onto their Google Photos account, they could go into Google Photos on their phone by opening it up from whatever web browser they used to open up Xero and then searching for the desired photo on Google Photos. When looking for a photo, users could go into the “Albums” section where all of their photos are located under different albums depending on what type of album the photos are stored in. If a user searches for a photo in Google Photos and finds it under an album labeled “Invoices” or “Accountants” for example, they could then click on this album which would bring up all of the photos stored under that particular album. Then, if they click on one of these individual photos, it would bring up all of the information associated with that particular photo such as when it was taken, who took it etc. This way, when searching for certain photos, users will not have to sift through hundreds of photos trying to find one particular image that they are looking for. Instead, users will only have to search one album (i.e. “Invoices”. and then click on one specific picture (i.e. “Pizza Invoice”)that is located under this particular album (i.e. “Invoices”), which will bring up all of this information about that particular photo (i.e., when it was taken. This will save time since people will no longer have to search through hundreds of photos trying to find one particular image because now people will only have to look through one type of album (i.e., “Invoices”. which makes things easier for them. Furthermore, if people want to quickly access pictures stored on their computer without having to open up Xero first, people could simply open up their web browser and go onto their Google Photos account where all of their pictures would be located under different albums depending on what type of album each individual photo is stored in (i.e., “Invoices”. People could then search for whatever picture they are looking for by going into an album (i.e., “Invoices”. and then clicking on one of these individual photos (i.e., “Pizza Invoice”)and viewing all of its information (i.e., when it was taken. This way people can quickly access any photos stored on their computer without having to go through several steps just to find one specific image since now people can simply search for any pictures that are stored under a certain category (i.e., “Invoices”. rather than having to search through every single photo stored on their computer when looking for one particular image.
