Google Photos

Google Photos is a photo management and sharing service developed by Google. Google Photos is available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store for Android and iOS devices, respectively. Google Photos can store unlimited photos and videos at their original quality, and allows users to create and share albums, which are automatically uploaded and organized. The app was automatically installed on Android devices with Google’s operating system Lplipop or above when the device is connected to the internet for the first time after May 29, 2015. However, the app was not pre-installed on Android devices with KitKat or below. On June 26, 2016, Google announced that it would discontinue its existing separate Google+ Auto Backup product as part of a wider discontinuation of the Google+ social network, and that it would instead develop Google Photos into a fully integrated spution that would allow users to back up their entire Google Account photo library free of charge.
