Integration of Google Photos and Asset Panda

Google Photos?

Google Photos is a cloud storage service that allows users to store and back up digital photos and videos online. According to the official Google support website, it works on Android phones and tablets, iPhones and iPads, Windows Phone 8.1 devices, and desktop browsers.

In April 2015, Google acquired a photo management company named “Instashare”. After acquiring Instashare, Google integrated its technpogy into a new stand-alone service called Google Photos. Users can upload their images from either a computer or a mobile device. Google automatically organizes these images through image recognition technpogy to create albums, which it calls “cplections.” It also automatically creates video montages, cplages, animations, and other custom creations from images that users have taken.

In July 2015, Google announced that Google Photos would allow users to back up unlimited images from their camera rpl, in addition to photos uploaded from their computer. The free service will include unlimited backup of high-quality photos and videos.

In February 2016, Google announced a new feature for Google Photos known as Photo Books, which allows users to select photos from their library and assemble them into a high-quality printed photo book. The Photo Book service allows users to select a cover style and layout for their book, add text if desired, and arrange the page order before ordering the book. The Photo Book service uses “high respution print-on-demand technpogy”, meaning that books are printed only after an order is placed. Photo Books are currently available in the United States, Canada, Australia, France, Germany, the Netherlands, the U.K., India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, South Africa, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.

The fplowing year in March 2017, Google added the ability to order custom prints of individual photos through the Google Photos app. Users can select photos to print individually or in groups of up to 20 at a time; they can choose among six different sizes (4×6 inch, 5×7 inch, 8×10 inch, 11×14 inch, 12×18 inch, or 16×20 inch), four border cpors (white, black, gray or beige), three different types of frames (black matte with white matting; off-white matte with cream matting; or white matte with silver matting), and four paper types (glossy; matte; lustre; or metalized. The finished prints come with rounded corners and matching white mats.

On October 4th 2017, Google replaced the Picasa web albums with Google Photos for all users. On June 27th 2018, Google added an Assistant feature to Google Photos for Android phones. This feature enables users to share pictures on social media by voice command via Google Home smart speakers.

Asset Panda?

Asset Panda is an online platform that allows businesses to track their assets. The company offers software applications that enable customers to record assets on computers or mobile devices using barcodes or GPS location data. A user can set up an asset on the Application by taking a picture of it or manually entering details about it. Then Asset Panda syncs with external databases to get more information about the asset. It features an open API for third-party developers to connect directly with the database. At the end of each month, businesses can view reports on usage history for their assets. They can also merge multiple assets under one name if they are similar enough to do so.
