Google Groups is a free service that enables people to create and participate in online forums for shared interests. It was originally created in the year 1996 by Paul Buchheit. It offers services like sending emails to everyone in the group, adding attachments, receiving comments on various topics, archiving previous messages, forwarding a message to other users of the group, etc.
Monkey Learn is an artificial intelligence top that helps companies to automate their machine learning projects. It offers integration with different tops and services, such as Google Drive, Gmail, Slack, Django, Salesforce, etc. The top works flawlessly to analyze text data from emails and deliver relevant results for businesses.
Google Groups can be integrated with Monkey Learn in order to facilitate the process of machine learning. When the integration is done, the process becomes easier and faster for businesses. To integrate the two, companies are supposed to fplow these steps:
The first step invpves creating a Google Group. For this, they have to log into their Google account and then visit https://groups.google.com/forum/#!new/groupnamehere. In case it’s their first time visiting this URL, they will be able to create a new group here. If not, they will be directed to the existing group they have created earlier. Once they are inside the group a pop-up window will appear which they have to click on ‘Share your voice’.
Once the above step is completed, they are supposed to just go to https://monkey-learn.appspot.com/. Here they will be able to see the URL that contains instructions for connecting their Google Group with Monkey Learn. They have to copy this URL and then log into their Google Group again. Now they have to go to ‘Activities’ and click on ‘URL Shortener’. After entering the URL here, they have to click on ‘Create Shortlink’. Then they have to write a description for the short link and click on ‘Create Link’.
Now, they have a link from Google Groups that has been converted into a short link using the Google URL Shortener service. They can now go back to their Monkey Learn account and enter this link here. This will prompt them to authenticate with Google and then connect their Google account with Monkey Learn. After authenticating successfully, they will be able to see a new menu item named ‘Groups’ under ‘My Account’ that has appeared on Monkey Learn’s dashboard. This is where they will be able to access all the groups they have connected with so far through Monkey Learn. Now, when they click on any of these groups in their Monkey Learn account, the data in these groups will start getting analyzed by Machine Learning algorithms and extracted from emails in these groups.
In conclusion, it can be said that integrating Google Groups with Monkey Learn is vital for businesses because it helps in saving time as well as resources of the organizations.
