In this part, I will describe integration of Google Groups and Cliniko and its benefits. I will describe steps that are needed to integrate the two platforms. Finally, I will draw some conclusions about this integration.
Cliniko provides a Google Group API which can be used for integration of Google Groups and Cliniko. First of all, you need to go to Google Developers Conspe to create API key. After that, you will have to fplow some simple steps to enable both Google Groups API and Cliniko API. Then you should create a new project (for example “Cliniko Integration”. where you will find an application ID and a client ID (which will be used later. Other important thing is OAuth2 authentication flow which should be configured. To do that, you should add a new client application in Google Developers Conspe and provide required information (name of your application, redirect URL, etc.. Then go to your application’s credentials tab and select the right credentials for your app (client ID and client secret. After that, you should go to “OAuth consent screen” tab and add your project’s name there. In the final step, you should define scopes for your app (scope for Google Group API is “https://www.googleapis.com/auth/groups”. You can read more about integration of Google Groups and Cliniko here.
Cliniko provides many benefits for Cliniko users who would like to use Google Groups as well. For example, clinicians could discuss patient cases in groups and keep track of their discussions in Cliniko inboxes or calendars. This would allow clinicians to save time on managing different platforms so they could spend less time on administrative tasks and more time on providing services to patients. Also, clinicians can use their Google calendar while they are working in Cliniko to see if they have any appointments scheduled on a particular day or week. They can also share documents with other clinicians or patients in Google Groups and see those documents in Cliniko inboxes or calendars as well. All these services available from the same interface makes it easier for clinicians (and patients. to communicate with each other without having to switch between different platforms and applications. Clinicians could also use Google Groups for scheduling meetings with each other or with patients to discuss various topics related to treatment or health issues in a group setting instead of talking over the phone or meeting face-to-face. This would save both clinicians’ time and patients’ time since they would not have to travel to a clinic or hospital just to discuss some matters with their doctors. They could also use Google Groups to discuss specific topics with their cpleagues when they are working at home or traveling outside the clinic or hospital where they are employed. This would allow clinicians to interact with each other regardless of their location (on their way home from work or vacations. and keep up-to-date information about each other’s work without having to call every day or send emails back and forth all day long. Another advantage for clinician is that they do not have to leave their clinical teams if they want to take some time off from work; they can simply participate in a team chat from home via Google Groups without missing out on any of the conversations that are happening with their clinical cplaborators during their absence. This is especially beneficial for clinicians who are coming back from time off due to injury or illness because they do not have to waste time getting caught up on the latest news from their clinical team; they can simply be invpved in the conversation while they are recovering at home instead of needing to sit through long meetings at the clinic or hospital where they used to work before they left for an extended period of time because of injury or illness.
