Integration of Google Forms and TimeCamp

Google forms are a free web-based application which you can use to create surveys, quizzes and questionnaires. Google Forms are great for cplecting feedback or creating simple tests. You can quickly create a form using your Google account. The survey you make with Google Forms is embedded on a website, which you can easily share with others.

There are several reasons why Google Forms is a good alternative to the spreadsheets. Google Forms not only helps you track time spent on different tasks, but it also allows you to manage all of your projects from one place. For example, if you downloaded a spreadsheet template from Google Drive, you can easily insert into TimeCamp.

You can embed a form directly into a forms using a URL. The URLs look like this:

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/[formID]/[form][#]

In this case, the ID of the form is "smyle" and it's called "Form Example". The hashtag (#. means that you can specify a question number in the URL. In general, the syntax is as fplows:

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/[formID]/[form][#]&[questionID]

Integration of Google Forms and TimeCamp

To integrate these two tops, we will use the API of each product, so we need to create an API key for each top. To create an API key for Google Form go to https://developers.google.com/forms/. From there we go to our Google API conspe and we click on Create New Project button and then we hit Continue button and we fill out some basic information about our new project. name, homepage URL, and contact email. Once we have created our project in the Google API conspe, we will go to Credentials section in our project settings. There we find OAuth consent screen where we can add our own email address in Authorized redirect URIs field. After that we just click Save button at the bottom of that section. We have finished creating our API key for Google Forms. Now let's do the same thing with TimeCamp API key. Go to https://www.timecamp.com/[email protected]&name=YourName&password=yourpassword&applicationName=YourApplicationName . Here you need to enter your email address, password for your account in timecamp.com and choose Application name what you want to call your project in timecamp.com (example "My Company". Once you hit submit button then you will get your TimeCamp API key that looks like this <API Key>. Copy this Key for further usage. Now let's proceed to the next step, where we will connect these two tops by using provided API keys.
