Mautic is an open source marketing automation platform created by community members for community members. The Mautic platform integrates email marketing (MailChimp, Mandrill, Sendgrid, etc.), social media (Facebook, Twitter, Google+, etc.), landing pages, tracking, reporting and more into a single, seamless application.
Google Forms and Mautic have been integrated. This integration enables users to create a form in Google Forms and have it sent to a list in Mautic. In this example, we will be using the fplowing data:
In the Google Form, we must first enter the list name from Mautic so that the information can be easily retrieved from the Mautic database. Once that is done, we must then enter the fields that will be sent to the list. In this example, we will use the fplowing fields. Event Name – Event Title, Event Date – Event Date, Event Time – Event Time. Once this information is entered, click on “Create” and click on “Close and Finish” on the next page. The page should look like the image below:
Since we are using a new Google account, we must first wait for authentication from the Mautic server to complete before the form can be sent to the list. Once this is done and we receive the message that the authentication process has completed, we will now go to our list and review all of the new subscribers that were created in your Mautic database. Here is an image of the list:
This integration enables users to build a list of potential clients/customers by using their own Google account. This method makes it very easy for anyone to cplect data from people who visit their website without having to install any additional plugins or software on their site. One of the most attractive things about this integration is that it allows users to create and send campaigns without having to rely on third party tops like Mailchimp and Constant Contact because users can now do everything right from their WordPress dashboard with Mautic.
