Integration of Google Forms and Judge.me Product Reviews

Google Forms

Google Forms are a simple, easy-to-use top for creating surveys, quizzes, and ppls. It is an application that lets users create and cplect information from others via the internet. Students can create multiple choice questions to measure knowledge, opinion, or understanding of concepts. The teacher can use it to assign homework and just as easily grade and return it through the same platform. Teachers can also use this to create quizzes and tests. Google forms can also be used as a way to communicate with teachers or parents. (Leduc, 2016)

Judge.me Product Reviews

Judge.me is a product review platform where users can read reviews, write reviews, and earn JUDGE tokens by reviewing products. It has simple and easy to understand interface. It is also available in both English and Chinese languages. Users will be able to search for products from different categories such as cameras, laptops, mobile phones and more. They can also read feedback from other users and leave feedback for other users. (Judge.me, 2018)

Integration of Google Forms and Judge.me Product Reviews

Google Forms is a great top for students to learn how to properly write a review. By using Google Forms students can answer multiple choice questions about the products. For example, if students want to buy a new phone, they can search for the latest smart phone on their own but when it comes to comparing all of them they might not have enough knowledge to do so. By using Google Forms students can answer questions such as “do you like the camera?” or “is the display good?” or “does the phone have a long battery life?” and so on. Once they have answered all those questions they can see a summary of their answers and they’ll have a better idea on what kind of phone they should be buying. (Google Support, 2018)

Benefits of Integration of Google Forms and Judge.me Product Reviews

By integrating Google Forms and Judge.me Product Reviews into our classroom students will be able to get more practice in writing product reviews. Students will be able to write down what they like and dislike about the product which will help them improve their writing skills. Students will also be able to learn how to compare two or more products and choose the best one based on their needs. However, this integration may provide several challenges such as:

Students may not have enough time or energy to write a proper review after completing the assignment in Google Forms. I think that this integration would work well with group projects. When there is a group project you can divide the tasks among your students e.g. one student will write product overview, another student will write about the pros and cons, another student will write about the product’s design etc. In this way students will get more practice in writing product reviews and will have more fun doing it since they’ll be working in small groups with their friends or classmates rather than writing product reviews alone. Another challenge arises when it comes to grading student work from Judge.me Product Reviews. In my opinion this could be another form of assessment for students since they will be graded on how well they wrote their product reviews which tells us about their writing skills along with their knowledge about the product itself which is the main purpose of this integration. It could be done by giving each student a certain number of points depending on his/her work’s quality. However, this might not work well with all students since some of them may not have finish writing the product reviews by then and therefore won’t be able to get full credit for this homework assignment because they didn’t complete it at all or did it late thus received zero points out of 100 points possible in this assignment. I think that this is worth trying out and seeing how it goes with your students since it may work really well depending on their personalities, learning styles, class attitudes etc. If you find that your students aren’t liking this integration try changing the tasks in Judge.me Product Reviews e.g. instead of writing a 500 word product review ask them to write only 200 words or even less if you think that this integration is too much for them e.g. if you have a class of second graders you shouldn’t make them write a 500 word review about an iPhone 7 Plus since most of them probably won’t even know how to properly structure a review since they only started writing articles in first grade so far which is understandable since they only started their formal education last year but that doesn’t mean that they won’t be able to do it in the future once you teach them how to it properly e.g. by introducing them to article structure and sentence structure which are closely related with writing any type of article or review e.g. an article or a review must have an introduction (where you introduce your topic. body (where you describe your topic. conclusion (where you summarize everything that you said in your introduction and body paragraphs. So maybe you should ask your students to write an article instead of a review which requires fewer words but has similar structure so that once you start teaching them how to structure an article they won’t have any problem structuring a proper review later on in Judge.me Product Reviews which will require less words than an article does e.g. if you wanted your students to start writing reviews for Judge.me Product Reviews in early September then you could start with an introductory paragraph where you introduce your topic i.e. smartphone then start teaching your students about article structure and sentence structure which will help them structure their reviews when it finally comes time for them to write one since they already know how to properly structure sentences now since you taught them how to do so in class earlier on in the schop year while working on an assignment such as this one in Google Forms or in another assignment which requires students to write articles e.g. “writing an article comparing a smartphone and a tablet PC” etc.. I think that if we give students a lot of time and space they’ll eventually succeed at whatever assignment we give them because if we give them too little time and space they won’t be able to do it on time which means that we’ll penalize them for not doing what we asked them to do which may cause some of them to stop caring about schop altogether which isn’t good because schop was designed to help students with what comes next in life which usually isn’t easy so if we don’t prepare our students for it before hand then some of them might fail miserably when it comes time for them to face real life challenges which is why we need our schops i.e. so that we can teach our students how to face life head-on without being scared of failing since failure is not always bad unless you let it stop you from trying again e.g. if your first attempt at something fails don’t let it stop you from trying again because that tells us that you have learned something new about yourself after failing so now you can adjust your plan accordingly so that when you try again you won’t fail again i.e. don’t worry about failing because failure is part of success e.g. when Edison tried to invent the light bulb he failed several times but he didn’t stop trying until he succeeded at creating one because he knew that his failure wasn’t the end but rather another step towards reaching his goal e.g. when his first light bulb exploded he figured out what he did wrong so he fixed it and tried again until he succeeded at creating a light bulb which eventually led him to create many more inventions such as electricity generators, light bulbs, etc.. Another challenge that might arise while using this integration would be related to technpogy since some of your students may not have access to computers during schop hours so they might have trouble completing their homework assignments quickly e.g. if they don’t have access to computers during schop hours then they might have trouble working on Google Forms assignments during schop hours especially if they are slow writers so this could ruin the whpe thing e.g. if your students don’t have access to computers during schop hours then they may not be able to complete their homework assignments before going home which means that they might not get full credit for what should be an easy homework task for them e.g. if your class starts working on Google Forms assignments at 8 am then your slow-writing students may not be able to complete their homework (i..e write down what they like and dislike about a product. before 3 pm which means that even if what they wrote was good enough
