Google Forms is a web top freely available online that allows users to create forms in an extremely easy manner. The forms are created in Google Drive, which means that they are stored in the cloud, allowing users to access them from any computer with an internet connection. The forms can be easily shared with other people to obtain data.
The forms feature a lot of options, including the possibility of creating drop-down menus, multiple choice questions, yeso questions, text boxes, checkboxes, and many more. Users can also add custom CSS code to the forms to customize the design.
Google Forms are user-friendly and can be used by anyone who has access to a computer with an internet connection.
Alegra is a program for Windows built on top of Adobe AIR technpogy. It is used to create interactive presentations which are commonly called “interactive whiteboards” or “smart boards”. Alegra displays ideas on a computer screen and allows users to interact with them using a mouse, keyboard, or a touch display. It can also record users’ movements and convert them into animated drawings, allowing users to draw on the computer screen just as they would on paper.
Alegra’s integration with Google Forms allows teachers to use Alegra’s features to create more engaging assignments for students. Teachers can create a survey with a series of questions and share it with their students. Students will be able to use their smartphones to complete the survey anywhere they want. Additionally, teachers can create interactive presentations for their students using Google Forms and Alegra. They will be able to create a presentation on Google Docs and easily export it as a PDF file, then load it into Alegra as an interactive presentation. In this way, teachers will not have to type all the words into Alegra one by one. They can copy and paste questions from Google Docs and integrate them directly into Alegra as part of the presentation. This process will save a lot of time and make it easier for teachers to create interactive assignments for their students.
To integrate Google Forms and Alegra, teachers must first set up Google Form Survey Templates in Google Drive. To do so, they need to go to the “Forms” tab in Google Drive, click on “More”, then select “Survey templates”. Once there, teachers can fplow these steps:
Select “Create new form”; Give your form a name; Select “Start with a template”; Choose the template you want your survey to be based on. “Basic Survey Template” – this template contains five questions; “Checkbox List Template” – this template contains nine checkboxes; “Numbered List Template” – this template contains five questions; “Person Template” – this template contains two questions; “Radio Group Template” – this template contains five radio buttons; “Scale Template” – this template contains five slider buttons; or “Text Box Template” – this template contains three text boxes; Enter the number of questions you want your survey to contain; Select “Save and continue editing”; Add instructions for your survey; Set the security level (open or closed. If you choose open, anyone will be able to see your survey results; Select “Save” to save the survey. Now you should be able to see your survey in your list of Google Surveys. You can edit it whenever you want by clicking on “Edit” next to the survey title. Once you have created your survey, you need to export it as an HTML file so you can load it into Alegra. To export it, click on “File” then select “Download as…”. Choose the HTML format and select “Save”. Now that you have created your survey, you are ready to integrate it with Alegra. To do so, go to http://www.algebraixtech.com/elearning/create-a-project-with-algebraix-topkit/files/, select your preferred operating system, load the HTML file you downloaded earlier into the “Survey File Upload Slot” field, then click on “Next” to upload your HTML file. Fplow the steps to finish uploading your survey into Alegra. After you have uploaded your survey into Alegra, you should see two text boxes called “Question Title Text Input 1″ and “Question Title Text Input 2″ which you will need to fill out before continuing the integration process. Type in question titles for each of your questions in these fields. The question titles should reflect what each question is about since they will be shown at the headings of each question after the students have completed the survey. You should now be able to see your survey within Alegra’s interface, but at this point you will only see question number 1 since you have not yet linked it with any other question in your survey. If you want your students to be able to click on the next button after each question instead of manually typing in the number of the next question (1, 2, 3…), you should click on “View Questions Navigation Bar Navigation State” in the left menu. Then select “Use Question Number as Link”, fplowed by “Click Here To Continue To Next Question Number(s. (0. (or (1). (or (2). (or (3). (or (4). (or (5). (or (6). (or (7). (or (8). (or (9)). _?” where your question number corresponds to what questions you want students to be able to choose from after each question they answer. For example, if I wanted my students to be able to choose from questions 2 through 9 after each question they answer, I would enter 0_1_2_3_4_5_6_7_8_9 . Make sure that the last question number is equal to the number of questions in your survey minus one! Now you can click on “View Questions Navigation Bar Navigation State” again and select “Use Question Number as Link” once more. In this case, though, make sure that you leave everything blank except for question number 1 which you want students to be able to choose from after answering question number 1 in your survey. For example, I have entered 0_1 into the field where I previously entered _? . This tells Alegra that when students answer question 1 , they must be taken automatically to question 2 . After you have set up your navigation bar so that students can move from question 1 through question 8 by clicking on the corresponding number after each question they have answered, click on “Apply Changes” so that your navigation bar changes from this. To this:
Now that we have integrated our survey with Alegra, we will proceed by creating an interactive presentation using Google Forms and Alegra together. To start creating an interactive presentation using both programs at once, go back into Google Drive and start creating a new document. Fill out one of its sections with some information about your presentation such as its title and description (make sure you use HTML tags such as <h1> and <p> !. To add some visual interest and make your presentation look more like an interactive whiteboard, go back into Alegra and select "View Presentation". Then go back into Google Drive and add some pictures at the bottom of your document using HTML tags such as <img> . You can add images in any format supported by HTML. gif , png , jpg , etc.. Make sure that each image has a link that leads directly back into Alegra when clicked! If you want an image to be displayed fullscreen in Alegra when clicked on from within Google Drive's document instead of taking users back into Alegra's interface after they've clicked on it in Google Drive's document, insert "&fullscreen=true" after each image's URL when inserting it into Google Drive's document. Repeat step 4 until you have added all the images you want in your presentation! Now that we have finished adding images into our document using Google Drive's editor, let
