Integration of Google Drive and Google Groups

Google Drive is a cloud storage service that allows users to store their documents online on a Google server. The service was originally launched in April 2012 by Google. Users can upload their files onto the Drive service and then can access them from anywhere using the Google Drive app or via the Google Drive website. Documents are viewable on any device with a browser as well as mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets.

Google Groups is a service from Google that allows users to create electronic mailing lists or discussion groups among people who share an interest. Anyone subscribed to a group can read messages posted to the group's archive and post messages in the group's discussion area.Google Groups began as a free service in 1996 but was briefly discontinued in 2002 due to low popularity. In 2006, Google announced that it was re-launching Google Groups with improved functionality for its members. In 2009, Google announced that it would implement additional privacy and security features in response to concerns about privacy raised in Congress.Google Groups is different from Google+ Communities in several key ways.
