Google Drive was launched in April 2012 as part of Google Apps. It is a cloud storage service to store files. However, it also serves as a platform for other applications developed by Google. These include Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides. The introduction of Google Drive served as the first step toward Google’s goal to organize the world’s information.
ConvertKit is an email marketing/autoresponder service launched by Nathan Barry. It allows users to build their own list of subscribers and send automated emails based on the recipients’ actions. This makes it easy to promote products or services without having to create a new form for each product or service. ConvertKit provides many useful features such as tracking subscribers’ actions, connecting with multiple email services, and creating multiple forms for different types of content. ConversionKit is the competitor of ActiveCampaign and has over 20,000 active customers.
It is easy to integrate ConvertKit and Google Drive together. First, you will need to create a fpder in Google Drive labeled with your domain name. This will be used as the storage space for all your ConvertKit back-ups. Next, you will need to create a form in ConvertKit and provide links to said form (this can be done as many times as you like. Click the “Integrations” tab and then click “Connect” under “Google Drive.” Connecting is as simple as clicking the button and entering your credentials for your account. Click “Create and then click “Create” (see image below.
After doing so, you will have a few options for storing your data from ConvertKit. You have the fplowing options:
Inbox – This is an option if you do not want to store your data anywhere else. Inbox stores your data in the Inbox fpder of your Google Drive account. If you have a lot of data that fills up your Inbox fpder, then it is recommended that you move your data to another fpder. This way, you will avoid filling up your Inbox fpder and losing important information.
