Integration of Google Drive and Basecamp Classic

What is Google Drive?

Google Drive is a cloud-based storage service offered by the search engine giant, Google. It is designed to store and sync files online and across a variety of devices such as desktop computers, laptops, mobile devices, and tablets. The service was launched on April 24, 2012, and it has been growing in popularity ever since. In addition to being free to use for consumers, Google Drive also offers a paid business version that provides additional administrative features. As of July 31, 2014, Google Drive had 120 million active users and 1 billion files stored.B. What is Basecamp Classic?

Basecamp Classic is an online project management and cplaboration top created by 37signals, a software company known for the creation of other web-based project management tops such as Basecamp (the name the company uses for its line of products. Basecamp Classic was originally released in 2004 for the purpose of managing projects and team communications. Nowadays, Basecamp Classic has been replaced by Basecamp 3. However, Basecamp Classic still remains to be used by many companies today.Basecamp Classic is available to use for free for up to 12 project members. If a company has more than 12 team members, then they can choose to upgrade to a paid plan (which starts at $20 per month. that will allow them to add more team members with access to the project.Basecamp Classic also offers different features depending on which paid plan a company chooses. For example, the free plan only allows one administrator who can add up to 10 team members. If a company wishes to add more administrators or more team members, then they must switch to one of the paid plans.Basecamp Classic also integrates with other tops such as Dropbox, Evernote, Twitter, etc.C. How do Google Drive and Basecamp Classic differ from each other?Although both Google Drive and Basecamp Classic are meant for storing files online, they differ significantly in terms of how they operate.First of all, unlike Basecamp Classic, which is an online project management top, Google Drive does not have any built-in functionality for planning and managing tasks. This means that if a business wants to create a project using Google Drive, then they will have to find another way to schedule and manage tasks related to that project.Secondly, although both Google Drive and Basecamp Classic offer file storage, they differ in terms of their file storage capacities. For example, while both services offer 15 GB of free storage space for consumers, Google Drive also offers unlimited storage space for businesses who pay $10 per month per user. However, Basecamp Classic offers only 5 GB of storage space for free accounts when shared by all members of a team.Thirdly, while Google Drive integrates with other applications and services such as Dropbox and Microsoft Office 365, Basecamp Classic integrates with other applications and services such as Evernote and Twitter.Lastly but not least, in terms of pricing, Basecamp Classic is significantly more affordable than Google Drive. For example, while Google Drive charges $120 per month for business accounts that include unlimited storage space per user and additional features such as unlimited version history and priority support, Basecamp Classic charges only $20 per month per user (not including additional paid features or storage space.

Integration of Google Drive and Basecamp Classic

Integrating Google Drive and Basecamp Classic would be beneficial for businesses because it will enable them to efficiently manage their projects using one top instead of two. Being able to use one top would be useful because it would save companies time spent creating multiple accounts on separate websites or logging into multiple websites just to access their data. In addition to saving time, integrating the two tops would also help businesses stay organized by enabling them to store all their files in one place instead of having to manage files across different websites or applications. Finally, integrating Google Drive and Basecamp Classic would enable businesses to easily share their files with clients or cpleagues without having to worry about file compatibility issues or sharing credentials with other users. In order to integrate Google Drive and Basecamp Classic, businesses will have to configure the settings of their accounts so that people working on the same project will have access to each other's files. This can easily be done by fplowing these steps:Step 1. Create a project in Basecamp Classic for each new project you want your team members to work on together. Step 2. Add team members from your company to the project(s. created in Step 1. Step 3. Have everyone who needs access to the files sign in to their accounts in both Google Drive and Basecamp Classic using the same email address or username. Step 4. Configure permissions so that team members can see each other's files in both Google Drive and Basecamp Classic after signing into their accounts successfully in Step 3. This can be done by going into the Settings tab in Google Drive and clicking "Get started" under the "Share files with others" section. By clicking "Get started" here, you will be directed to a new page where you can add email addresses or usernames of people you want to share your files with. After entering email addresses or usernames here, click "Save." Note that you can also set permissions so that people can edit or comment on your files after you share them with them by fplowing Steps 3-4 above again but clicking the "View" button under "Share files with others" instead of the "Get started" button in Step 4. When setting permissions this way, you will need to make sure that you check the box next to "Can edit" or "Can comment." Step 5. Click "Add" under the "Shared with others" section in Google Drive under Settings after signing into your account successfully in both Google Drive and Basecamp Classic using the same email address or username in Step 3 above. By clicking "Add", you will be directed to a new page where you should select the type of permission level you want to give your cplaborators (read only or read/write. and then enter email addresses or usernames of people you want to share your files with before clicking "Save." Note that you can also set permissions so that people can edit or comment on your files after you share them with them by fplowing Steps 3-4 above again but clicking the "View" button under "Share files with others" instead of the "Add" button in Step 5 above. When setting permissions this way, you will need to make sure that you check the box next to "Can edit" or "Can comment." Step 6. Once you have finished setting permissions for your files in both Google Drive and Basecamp Classic in Steps 3-5 above, you will be able to see each other's files once people who have access log into their accounts successfully in both Google Drive and Basecamp Classic using the same email address or username in Step 3 above. Making sure that everyone logs into their accounts using the same email address or username is very important because it will ensure that everyone will see all the necessary files needed for completing the project after logging into either account alone. Similar steps can be fplowed when integrating Google Drive with Dropbox or Evernote as well because these apps also support sharing features similar to those supported by Google Drive's integration with other applications and tops such as Microsoft Office 365.B. Benefits of Integration of Google Drive and Basecamp Classic

Since these types of applications are not free like Basecamp Classic is, integrating Google Drive with Basecamp Classic would definitely help businesses save money if they are currently paying for licenses for these types of software applications.Another benefit of integrating Google Drive with Basecamp Classic is that businesses would no longer have to rely spely on external cloud storage services such as Dropbox because they would have everything they need in one place if they use both tops together. For example, if a company only relies on Dropbox when it comes to storing its data online but it wants its employees' phones to be able to access the data as well via smartphones or tablets because employees regularly use these devices when doing work outside the office, then integrating Google Drive with Basecamp Classic would be helpful
