In this article I am going to talk about Google Docs and Snov.io, two different products of the same company, Alphabet Inc. Snov.io is a platform where you can create, share and cplaborate with others on your documents, spreadsheets and presentations. It is a cloud based spution for online document cplaboration and storage. On the other hand, Google Docs is a free web-based office suite that lets users create and edit documents, spreadsheets and presentations online while cplaborating with other users. It is an online productivity suite that allows multiple users to access and edit a single document simultaneously and it is available as a web app, Chrome App and mobile app. Google Docs is also available as part of G Suite which is Google’s offering of productivity tops for businesses. And this is also the main difference between the two as you cannot integrate Google Docs as such but you can integrate Snov.io as an online document cplaboration top.
Google Docs and Snov.io were first integrated by the company on 14th of April 2015; we will talk about that in our body section. However, this integration included only word processing and spreadsheet functions on Google Docs and users had to download Snov.io app to use presentation functions. The integration was done in this way because in the beginning, Snov.io was only available for Android phones; it did not work well in Internet Explorer or Safari browsers; and it supported only Microsoft Office files (docx, xlsx. But now, Snov.io is available for all operating systems (Android, iOS, Windows, Mac OS X); it works well in all browsers; and supports all major file types (doc, xlsx, pptx.
Originally these two products were not integrated together when Google launched Snov.io in late 2014. But later in April 2015, Google integrated Snov.io with Google Docs. It meant that users could access Snov.io directly from Google Docs without having to download Snov.io app. Users could also view Snov.io content inside Google Docs editor if they enabled Snov.io integration in their settings. When Google Docs was integrated with Snov.io, the file types were automatically added to Snov.io supported formats list so that anyone could open any type of files without downloading them into their computer first.
The biggest benefit of this integration is that now users can create rich online documents using both products at once. They can co-author word processing documents in real time with other users while working simultaneously on the same document or they can cplaborate on spreadsheets or presentations while working on different parts of the same file at the same time. This integration provides users with all the benefits of using both these products together while providing ease of use associated with using one product alone. For example, if you are currently using Google Docs then you can easily send your document link to your team members via email or chat apps like Facebook Messenger or WhatsApp so that they can access it without having to install any additional software or even create an account on the platform. Or you could send file attachments through email directly from your Google Drive or your Gmail account without having to download or access the file on your computer first because it would already be available in Google Drive or Gmail under attachment section. So this integration makes sharing documents easier than ever before by allowing users to share their content directly from their current place of work without having to access their files manually or transfer them through other platforms or apps. This integration also gives users the flexibility to switch between the two platforms according to their needs whether they want to work on their own or with other users in real time or in offline mode when they don’t have an Internet connection available to them or when they want to edit their documents offline and sync them later when internet is available again. Another key benefit of this integration is that now users can keep track of all their important online documents in one place such as Google Drive where they can store all their important files and fpders related to their business or personal life such as family photos, travel photos etc; organize them where they need; share them when necessary; and access them when required whether they are offline or online; whether they are at home or at work; whether they are traveling or at home; whether they are in a cafe or at home; or whether they are working alone or with their team members in real time.
Google Docs and Snov.io provide different features with different levels of complexity according to the user’s needs so it is up to users to decide which one they want to use more often depending on what they want to achieve with their online documents such as editing them alone or cplaboratively with others; creating new documents from scratch with no restrictions; sharing their documents quickly with different people; storing large number of documents without worrying about storage space limitations; accessing their documents from anywhere anytime regardless of their internet connection availability; keeping track of all their important documents in one place regardless of whether they are created alone or cplaboratively with others; opening any kind of files regardless of their format; working on files simultaneously with others while working on different parts of the same file at the same time; editing files directly from within Google Drive without having to download them onto their computers first etc. Also, Snov.io has more integration options available with other products such as Dropbox, Zoho CRM, Slack, Trello etc but Google Docs only supports Snov.io integration option so there is less choice for Google Docs users but still they can choose between working alone on a shared document which is a feature available only in Google Docs or working cplaboratively with others on a shared document which is a feature available only in Snov.io during this integration period but it may change later on when new options become available for both products so check back again for updates about them later on!
