Cloud printing is a technpogy for printing documents stored in the internet cloud. It is often used by companies, organizations, etc. to print documents at any location where there is an internet connection. Cloud printing is integrated with Google Docs application. Google CloudPrint has several primary features:

  • Securely print from anywhere to anywhere- No software or drivers to install, no port or IP address configuration required- Print using your Android phone, tablet, laptop or any other device

Google CloudPrint integrates with simplesat app, which allows you to print your files in the cloud (Google Docs. into your printer (simplesat. The application will automatically detect when you are offline and will send the file to the printer once you connect back to the internet. It also gives you the ability to manage your printers.

  • Google CloudPrint has several primary features:

    • Securely print from anywhere to anywhere- No software or drivers to install, no port or IP address configuration required- Print using your Android phone, tablet, laptop or any other device

    For the integration of Google CloudPrint and simplesat, there are some steps that user needs to fplow:

    • Install the simplesat app. This app will help you upload documents to Google Drive or Google Docs. This app will also have a print button that will allow you to select your printer.
    • Go to Google CloudPrint setup page for your printer. Sign in with your Google account if required. If you do not have one, it will walk you through creating one. You need to make sure that you have the correct printer selected. The last step will ask you if you want to use this printer with Google CloudPrint. Select yes on this option. That’s it! Your printer is now ready to print with Google CloudPrint.
    • Go to “Settings” of the simplesat app. Tap on “Print Settings” on the bottom left corner of the screen. Then tap on “Add Printer” and enter the Google CloudPrint URL for your printer. It should be something like. https://www.google.com/cloudprint/setup/printers/XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX/printing to start printing documents from Google Docs and Google Drive directly to your printer without having to install any special software or drivers on your computer. You can find the Google CloudPrint URL for your printer online or by going to www.google.com/cloudprint/printers and selecting your printer manufacturer and model. After adding your printer, tap Save and then tap Printing Preferences and select your printer from the list of printers that appears in order to set default settings for that particular printer. You can change the default settings later in case you need them adjusted.
    • Once your printer is added in simplesat app, you can click on Print button in the document viewer and select the correct printer from the list to print your document. You will be able to see when your document was sent to the printer and when it was printed in the notification bar at the top of the screen. This way simplesat app helps users print documents from Google Docs and Google Drive directly to their printers without having to install any special software or drivers on their computer.
