The integration of Google CloudPrint and ShipRocket will allow for simple printing of shipping labels. There are two steps to this process. First, the customer needs to calculate the weight of their package(s. Next, they need to print out a shipping label with their package’s weight and destination address on it. This will be sent to the carrier and shipped accordingly.
Benefits of Integration of Google CloudPrint and ShipRocket:
One benefit is that it will reduce the amount of time needed to ship packages. Rather than having multiple documents printed out with each address and weight listed, there can be one document that covers all of the information needed. The second benefit is that the customer does not have to type in this information themselves; everything can be calculated automatically. The third benefit is that this system is easier to use than the current one in place in which customers have to copy and paste in shipping quotes and addresses manually in order to get a quote or track their package in transit. Lastly, this would be more convenient for customers because they would not have to wait for someone else in their organization to handle shipping issues when customers want to ship quickly and efficiently.
The benefits of integrating Google CloudPrint and ShipRocket into my business would be fewer errors when I am creating shipping labels. I could just send all of the shipping information to my employees’ printer through Google CloudPrint and they could print shipping labels without needing to type out all of the data themselves. Also, I could send a specific shipping label template with a logo already on it so it would look professional when my employees hand deliver a package. As a side note, I could also make a custom template for clients of mine who do not have their own logo on their website yet, but I would need to send them a custom template with their logo on it if they did not have a logo already on file with me. Another benefit of using this system would be less time having to type in shipping information into my system manually when sending a package through ShippingEasy. By using Google CloudPrint, my employees would only have to print out a single document with all of the information needed on it for a faster turnaround time when sending a package abroad or domestically. Also, I could create a template with my business logo on it for my customers who do not have a logo made yet so it would look more professional when I hand deliver a package personally on behalf of my customers instead of using regular paper packing slips. Lastly, another benefit is that my employees would know how much paper I have on hand at all times because they would be printing out shipping labels regularly through Google CloudPrint rather than not knowing how much paper I have left because I am only ever printing out one shipping label at a time when I decide to ship something myself instead of using ShippingEasy’s automatic shipping functionality.
