  • Cloud printing is a new way to print from your computer. Instead of installing and configuring a printer and software on your computer, you can use the cloud to print documents from anywhere. This feature allows end users to print directly from their computers, smartphones and tablets. Google announced its cloud print service at the Google I/O event in May 2011. This service allows users to print from any application that supports the Google Cloud Print protocp (GCP. The GCP works with any operating system, including Mac OS X and Linux.

  • The integration of moonclerk and Google Cloud Print provides a user-friendly environment for printing. Moonclerk has the ability to detect printers on the local network, accesses printers via the Internet through integration of Google Cloud Print, and connect to printers using SSH. Additionally, it is able to use GCP to create queues, monitor printers, and configure printers. When Google Cloud Print is integrated into moonclerk, it then becomes simple to print from any device connected to the network. However, moonclerk does not support printing from Android devices.
