Integration of Google Calendar and Daylite

For my first blog post, I decided to share my opinions of two online productivity tops that I love.

I will start with Google Calendar and Daylite. After that, I will go into more detail about each of the tops.

Google Calendar

Google Calendar is an online calendar that can be accessed from any device with an internet connection. It has many different features, but it’s most popular feature is its integrations with other services. You can sync your Google Calendar with your Gmail account, your Google Drive, your Android phone, your iOS phone, your Windows computer, etc.

For example, if you have a special event on your calendar, Google Calendar will automatically send you an email reminder of the event. Likewise, if you have a Gmail account, you can view all of your calendar events directly within Gmail.

Of course, Google Calendar isn’t flawless. There are some bugs that result in random events not showing up on Google Calendar, but these bugs are very rare. They usually only occur when you make changes to the date of an event. Aside from this glitch, Google Calendar is pretty spid.

Daylite

Daylite is another online productivity top like Google Calendar. It’s more of an organizational top than a calendar top because it allows you to keep track of everything in your life. For example, this top can help you keep track of your goals, your workload, and even your habits!

You can also use Daylite to create to-do lists that are broken down into different categories (work, family, health, etc.. This makes it easy for you to stay on top of your responsibilities.

Daylite also integrates with some other popular productivity tops like Todoist and Wunderlist. You can also sync your Daylite account with your Google Calendar so that they work together seamlessly.

Now that you know a little bit about what Google Calendar and Daylite are, let me tell you why I love them so much.

Integration of Google Calendar and Daylite

I have been using both tops for years now and I have integrated them so well that I don’t even think about them anymore. Once a week or so, I sit down and figure out what I want to accomplish in the coming days and weeks. Then I create a new event on Google Calendar with all of my tasks listed out in a sort of checklist format. This way, I know exactly what I need to do and how much time I have to do it in. I add this event to my Google Calendar and boom! My tasks are in my calendar for me to keep track of them throughout the week. When the day arrives for each task, I add the task to my Daylite checklists and add a reminder in my Google Calendar so that I don’t forget any important events! Once I’m done with a task, I mark it as complete in both Daylite and Google Calendar. This way, I can easily see which tasks I’ve accomplished and which tasks still need to be completed. On days that I don’t have any specific tasks planned out, I just check off any leftover tasks from my previous day or week in Google Calendar and Daylite! It’s such a great system and it saves me so much time because I never have to worry about forgetting something important again!

Benefits of Integration of Google Calendar and Daylite

Integrating these two tops has made my life so much easier and better! Here are just a few benefits:

Quick access. It’s so simple to get quick access to my calendar and/or to-do list from just about anywhere! Efficiency. All of my tasks are broken down into different categories (work, family, health, etc.. so that I can focus on one thing at a time or schedule different things at certain times throughout the day. This way, I always know where my time should be spent and I always know exactly what needs to be accomplished on any given day! Accountability. If you don’t complete a task on the day that it’s scheduled for completion, then you can mark it as unfinished or incomplete in both Daylite and Google Calendar! This way, you’re able to see which tasks haven’t been completed yet and which ones need to be looked at again! Less stress. Because I have everything planned out ahead of time in both Daylite and Google Calendar, I no longer have to stress about forgetting important tasks or events! Everything is planned out for me already with reminders set up in advance! Flexibility. You can check off tasks or events right on your phone or desktop computer with ease! That means that you don’t have to wait until you get home to check off items on your list! This helps me stay organized no matter where I am!
