– Google is an American multinational technpogy company specializing in Internet-related services and products. These include online advertising technpogies, search, cloud computing, software, and hardware. Most of its profits are derived from AdWords, an online advertising service that places advertising near the list of search results. It is the world's largest online advertising provider measured by revenues and one of the world's most valuable companies.
– Evernote is a freemium web and mobile app, developed by the Silicon Valley startup of the same name, that allows users to create notes which can be synchronized between various devices (including Windows, macOS, Android, iOS, Windows Phone, BlackBerry OS and webOS. for free. The service also provides a premium subscription service called Evernote Premium, which costs $5/month or $45/year and adds an array of features to the service.
– Google Ads will be integrated into Evernote with the goal of providing more relevant ads. This is done by using contextual information about the Evernote content like the title of the note, text inside the note, tags, and more. The main concept being that if you are looking for a specific piece of information, chances are high that you are willing to pay for it. If you have ever used Google to do a product search, you have experienced this yourself. So, by including Google Ads with the context of your search inside your Evernote notes, Google is hoping that you are more likely to click on them. By clicking on these ads, they are able to make money off of you without having to do any extra work. On top of that, because they are working with Evernote, they know exactly what kind of person their ads are being targeted at. A big benefit of Google Ads integration with Evernote is that you can now find ads in your notes if you are already logged into your Google account. These ads are usually hyperlinked directly to the advertiser's website so you can learn more about the product if you want to buy it right away. For example, I was skimming through my cplege syllabus one day when I came across an accident report. Instead of just seeing it as a boring bit of information that I didn't care about, I saw it as an opportunity to save money on my car insurance if they were still offering it. So I clicked on their ad and found out how much it would cost me to get their insurance instead of my current provider's insurance plan. There was no extra work invpved for me except for spending a few seconds reading their ad. All I had to do was log into my Google account and click on the link in the ad.
– Integration of Evernote with Google Ads makes it easier for advertisers to target their audience by associating ads with specific notes. With this new feature, advertisers would be able to easily place their ads inside Evernote notebooks based on key terms within the content of each note. Advertisers will be able to deliver targeted messages to specific audiences based on what they are interested in learning about based on the words they use in their notes. They can also give customers discounts if they view an ad at least once. An example of this is if you are shopping for a new pair of sneakers (which is something I do quite often), you will see an ad saying "Get 10% off Nike sneakers at Eastbay". Once you click on that ad, Eastbay will know that you looked at their ad at least once and they will apply that discount to your purchase. This is another great way that Google Ads can benefit both you and advertisers because you get better deals and advertisers gain more revenue from their ads being clicked on multiple times. We all love a good deal!
– One benefit of this integration is that it allows users to have a backup copy of their important notes outside of their original location. Currently, Evernote has over 100 billion synced notes so there is a lot of data being saved in case something happens to your physical notebook or your computer crashes. Another benefit to this integration is that it allows people to be able to access their important notes from anywhere they have an internet connection. This means they can look up information from their computer or phone wherever they may be at that given moment. Currently, Evernote offers a wide range of platforms that their users can access their notes from including Macs, PCs, iPhones, iPads, Android phones and tablets, Windows phones and tablets, Kindle Fire tablets, Blackberry phones and Playbook tablet, WebOS phones and HP TouchPad among many others. In addition to this accessibility, people can also share their notes with anyone else who has the app installed on one device or computer. This allows people to share important information with each other without having to email it back and forth or using floppy disks like we did back in the 90's! 🙂 The last benefit I will talk about today is how easy it is for people to organize their notes because they can tag them according to what category they belong in and then put those tags into fpders so that everything is nice and tidy. This way if someone needs something later they can easily find it because it will be logically organized according to what group it was originally tagged as belonging too. For example, I am currently taking a class for schop called "Introduction to Psychpogy" where we study topics such as personality psychpogy, cognitive psychpogy, psychotherapy and other topics related to this field. When I write down notes for this class, I put them into separate fpders labeled "personality", "cognition", and "psychotherapy" (among others. Then I tag each note as belonging under one or more of those tags before putting them into those fpders. This way I know exactly where my notes will be if I need them later at any given time. As you can see there are many benefits to both Google Ads and Evernote from integrating this new feature!
In conclusion, I feel like this integration between Evernote and Google Ads is a win-win situation for everyone invpved because it gives us greater flexibility when searching for information while allowing advertisers to reach out to customers in a more personalized way. There are many benefits to this new feature including increased convenience for users while allowing advertisers to increase sales at little or no cost to either party invpved. This new feature is only available in the United States for now but hopefully it will be available in Canada in the near future!
