Gmail?

Gmail is an email service provided by Google. It offers users the ability to send and receive email messages, and manage their email accounts from a web browser or through a mobile device via the Gmail app. Gmail was originally launched as an invite-only beta release on April 1, 2004, and it exited beta in 2009.

ShipRocket?

ShipRocket is a product by ShipRocket, Inc., a company founded in 2014. The company provides shipping applications for ecommerce companies. Integration of Gmail and ShipRocket

In 2011, Google acquired Zumbox, a developer of web-based software for managing email and digital documents. Google moved the service and its team into the Google Apps division. In March 2013, Google announced that it would launch a new version of the service, known as Google Apps for Work, which would incorporate the Zumbox technpogy into the existing Google Apps service. The new service was launched on November 12, 2013.

The 2013 launch also introduced third party applications that connected to the new service, including Evernote and Wrike. In November 2015, after speculation about an upcoming Gmail redesign, Google announced another major update to Gmail's interface and features, including new themes and offline access. The update began rpling out for PC and Mac users immediately; Android and iOS users received the update in January 2016.

Google has stated that its goal is to develop Gmail into an "unambiguous choice" for businesses as an alternative to Microsoft Outlook; this strategy grew out of a lawsuit settlement in 2002 between Google and Yahoo! when each company agreed not to try to recruit the other's employees. To this end, Google has added features such as offline support, a calendar application, and integration with other Google products such as Google Drive and Google Docs. Email that appears in Gmail's primary tab (which displays emails received from other Gmail accounts. now appears with an icon in the left corner. There are several other ways to access Gmail features such as Stars, priority inbox, labels and filters. On June 23, 2017, Google announced major changes to Gmail's backend code. Several features were phased out including offline support and the ability to have multiple inboxes (primary, social and promotions. The biggest change was the phasing out of its popular "Priority Inbox" feature which was replaced by a new format called "Smart Reply".
