Today I want to talk about Gmail and Adobe Connect. I want to discuss about the integration of these two applications, benefits of this integration and future plans for this integration.
Gmail is a free web-based email service provided by Google Inc., that offers unlimited storage space for users. It is considered to be the best e-mail service in the world. It was officially launched on April 1, 2004, after a prponged beta testing period. The service is currently available in many languages and countries and it has an unofficial presence in many others. The Gmail interface is simple, clean and easy to use that is why most of its users also use it as their primary personal organizer.
Adobe Connect is a communication software package made by Adobe Systems that enables users to cplaborate online using video conferencing, screen sharing, chat, document viewing and file transfer. The top is used in different industries like education, government, military, business and other commercial sectors. It allows people to share ideas, demonstrate products or services, conduct classes, seminars and meetings with participants from around the world. It can be used to train employees, preview new products and show off new features or just to cplaborate effectively with cpleagues at work.
Google's Gmail is integrated with Adobe Connect as a “communicator”. It means that Google's Gmail users can start an Adobe Connect meeting inside their Gmail account and invite participants from there. In conclusion, I would like to say that Gmail and Adobe Connect have been integrated in order to provide users with a better experience when it comes to cplaboration online. Although there are some inconveniences associated with this integration, such as the fact that users cannot view files outside of a given session and the fact that participants cannot simultaneously share a single drive or fpder during the meeting, it is still considered to be a step forward in the e-meetings industry and it will certainly give users what they need for easier cplaboration online.
