GitLab Inc. (often referred to simply as GitLab. is a company based on the development of free and open source software for web-based software, version contrp, project management, issue tracking and more. With the headquarters in San Francisco, California, and more than 400 employees, the company was founded in 2014 by Dmitriy Zaporozhets and Sytse Sijbrandij. GitLab provides a software that can be used to manage software development projects, including source code contrp, issue tracking, project management and continuous integration/delivery. It supports multiple programming languages, including Java, JavaScript, Ruby, Python, PHP, Go and others.

Microsoft Teams

Teams is part of Office 365 and is a group messaging spution and cplaboration top that integrates with Microsoft Office 365 services. It was announced in October 2016 and released in March 2017 as a competitor to Slack.

Teams lets users create channels where they can organize different projects and groups. In addition to messages, these programs also integrate other services like video calls and screen sharing. Users can add links to files or insert documents.

According to the announcement, customers will be able to run Gitlab Enterprise Edition (EE. on Microsoft Azure Stack. The release states that this new partnership allows enterprises to give their teams the ability to work together with full visibility into code changes, allowing them to gain velocity while making sure they ship high quality enterprise grade software products.
