GetResponse and Drip are email marketing services. They both have their own advantages and disadvantages, but for me the Integration of GetResponse and Drip is more beneficial because of the convenience.Drip is an email marketing service that sends emails to your customers based on different conditions. GetResponse is an email marketing service that allows you to send out newsletters to your customers based on different conditions. There are many benefits when using both these services at the same time but I am going to focus on the integration. We will look at how we can use GetResponse to send our campaigns through Drip. In this case, we will be sending a welcome email once someone subscribes to our newsletter using GetResponse.A. What is GetResponse?
GetResponse is an email marketing service that allows you to send out newsletters to your customers based on different conditions. You can create different campaigns and choose a template for each campaign. Then, using triggers, decide when the newsletter will be sent to your customer.GetResponse makes it easy for you to see the statistics such as the number of opens, clicks and unsubscribes for each campaign. You can also see which countries your customers are from, where they are opening your emails from and what times of day they are opening them.
Drip is a marketing automation software that lets you connect with your customers. It uses 'Sends' in order to automate a sequence of emails or 'actions'. Each 'Send' in a drip can be individually tracked. Drip automatically adds people that subscribe to your list into your first drip. This means you can start sending your customers emails instantly after they subscribe.Drip works by creating a campaign, allowing you to choose a template and then adding conditions (triggers. to when you want the campaign to be sent out. For example, you can add a condition saying that if someone signs up for your newsletter and doesn't open any emails from you within 7 days then you don't want them. This way Drip will unsubscribe them from your list before they even receive anything from you.Drip shows real-time analytics so you can see how many people opened your emails, clicked your links and how long they spent on your website. It also shows what country they were from, what device they were using and what kind of operating system they were using. This means that you can use GetResponse to send an email through Drip once someone has subscribed to your newsletter. This means that the person will receive an email from Drip straight away, but the actual newsletter will come through GetResponse instead of directly from Drip.
Here's how you integrate GetResponse and Drip together:Login to GetResponse by going to https://www.getresponse.com/ Click on 'Names' at the top right-hand corner of the screen and select 'Add New List'. Give your new list a name and click save. This new list will now appear in your list manager with all other lists on the left-hand side of the screen. Click 'Add an Email Address' for this new list that you just created and enter the email address that should be subscribed. Click 'Save'. Now go back to your list manager, select the new list that you just created and click 'Edit Campaigns'. You'll notice two different campaigns already set up there (Welcome Email Automation & Welcome Email. These are actually automated emails that we're going to turn off for now, so click on the gear icon next to the campaign write down 'Welcome Email Automation' and click 'Disable Campaign'.
