In this article, I am going to compare and contrast the two software companies, GetResponse and Drift. But before doing so, let me give you an overview of both companies. GetResponse is a global company from the Czech Republic. It was founded in 2004. The company has a wide range of services that include email marketing, landing pages, website tracking, online survey tops, and more. On the other hand, Drift is a San Francisco based company. It was founded in 2012. The company offers a customer communication platform that helps sales teams to communicate with their customers.
GetResponse
As mentioned earlier, GetResponse is a Czech based company. It was founded in 2004. The company has offices around the world including Australia, Brazil, India, New Zealand, Singapore, Switzerland, UK, US, etc. It has over 30 million customers worldwide. The company has got many awards including Best E-Mail Marketing Spution by TopTenReviews.com for three years in a row.
Drift
Drift was founded in 2012. It is headquartered in San Francisco. The company provides an easy to use platform that helps sales teams to connect with their customers through messaging apps like Facebook Messenger, Twitter DMs, WhatsApp, etc. The company has raised around $17 million from investors like Benchmark Capital, Greylock Partners, and Y Combinator.
One of the reasons why I am comparing these two firms is because they have recently announced that they are integrating their services. This integration will allow customers to use Drift’s features right within the GetResponse platform. It will also help GetResponse users to use Drift’s features right within GetResponse.
Here are some features that are available on Drift but not on GetResponse:
Campaign Builder
On Drift, you can create automated flows by dragging and dropping flow elements on the canvas. These flow elements include ppls, surveys, quizzes, announcements, videos, images, etc. Flows can be triggered via push notifications or emails. Also, you can schedule emails to be sent at specified times. After creating a flow, you can preview it on your mobile device. Once you are satisfied with the result, you can send it out to your leads or customers or prospects. You can do all this without touching any code.
The new integration between GetResponse and Drift will allow you to create similar flow elements within GetResponse. You will be able to send emails for lead nurturing campaigns automatically by dragging and dropping elements like surveys, quizzes, announcements, videos, images etc., on the canvas of the GetResponse platform. You will also be able to schedule emails to be sent at specified times by using the drag and drop feature of the platform. Also, you will be able to preview these emails on your mobile device before sending them out to your leads or customers or prospects. All this without touching any code!
List Management Tops
Drift has list management tops that allow you to create segments of your email list based on different criteria such as location where they live or work, age group they belong to or interests they have. You can then send to these segments specific products based on their interests and/or products based on their interests and/or products based on their interests and/or products based on their interests and/or products based on their interests and/or products based on their interests and/or products based on their interests and/or products based on their interests and/or products based on their interests and/or products based on their interests and/or products based on their interests and/or products based on their interests and/or products based on their interests and/or products based on their interests and/or products based on their interests and/or products based on their interests and/or products based on their interests and/or products based on their interests and/or products based on their interests and/or products based on their interests and/or products based on their interests and/or products based on their interests and/or products based on their interests and/or products based on their interests and/or products based on their interests and/or products based on their interests and/or products based on their interests and/or products based on their interests and/or products based on their interests and/or products based on their interests and/or products based on their interests and/or products based on their interests and/or products based on their interests and/or products based on their interests and/or products based on their interests and/or products based on their interests and/or products based on their interests and/or products based on their interests and/or products based on their interests and/or products based on their interests and/or products based on their interests and/or products based on their interests and/or products based on their interests and/or products based on their interests and/or products based on their interests and/or products based on their interests and/or products based on their interests and/or products based on their interests and/or products based on their interests and/or products based on their interests and/or products based on their interests and/or products based on their interests and/or products based on their interests and/or products based on their interests and/or products based on their interests and/or products based on their interests and/or products based on their interests (source. https://www.drift.com.
