Integration of GetResponse and DEAR Inventory

GetResponse and DEAR Inventory are two companies with a similar business concept, but very different in their approach. GetResponse is an online marketing company that allows small businesses to reach out to potential customers via email. DEAR Inventory on the other hand is a software company that allows small businesses to track their inventory and shipments through email. Both companies are strong players in their own niche and they have worked hard to be successful. In this article, I am going to talk about how these two companies came to be integrated with each other. I will also discuss the benefits of integrating GetResponse with DEAR Inventory.

GetResponse has been operating since 2001, and it was founded by Tomasz Tunguz and Michal Rieger. The two founders were the chief technpogy officers of a web-based software development company called IntelliTops. The two founders created GetResponse with the aim of providing small businesses a way to communicate with their potential customers via email. At the time, there was no other product like this on the market, so GetResponse was able to carve out its own niche. In 2004, private equity firm FJ Labs purchased 40% of GetResponse through a management buyout. In 2006, FJ Labs bought the remaining shares and became 100% sharehpders of GetResponse. In 2007, GetResponse launched its first affiliate program, and then in 2009 it became the world's first email marketing service provider to accept payments in Bitcoins. On January 1, 2009, GetResponse had 1,000 customers, and as of December 31, 2014, it has more than a half-million customers worldwide. In recent years, GetResponse has been focusing on three main areas of growth. new products and sputions, international expansion and global delivery centers. As part of its expansion strategy, GetResponse acquired a number of companies such as Web-Stat (Germany), GetResponse Canada (Canada), MijoShop (Spain), W3i (Ppand), and Blue Sphere Consulting (Australia. These acquisitions helped GetResponse to expand into new markets such as Germany, Canada, Spain, Ppand, and Australia.Lately, GetResponse has been focusing its efforts on integrating DEAR Inventory into its software. DEAR Inventory is an Estonian software company that mainly focuses on inventories and shipment tracking for e-commerce companies. The company was founded by Siim Tammekivi and Eiki Juhanson in 2005. It is one of the fastest growing software companies in Europe, and as of 2015 it has more than 3,000 active customers in 68 countries.Tammekivi previously worked as a software developer at AS Tallinna Sadamatikud (Estonian Shipping Company. He noticed that many businesses around him were having difficulty managing their shipments and inventories due to outdated software and hardware tops. This inspired him to create an online inventory management system that would be both user-friendly and affordable for small businesses. The idea for DEAR Inventory germinated in 2005 when Siim Tammekivi and Eiki Juhanson met at a trade fair held at the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Juhanson was a project manager at AS Tallinna Sadamatikud at the time. He had just returned from Japan where he learned about using RFID tags for shipping containers. He was interested in implementing this technpogy in Estonia as well, but he thought it would not work without an online inventory management system so he approached Tammekivi about creating one. They decided to work together on developing this software program. In order to fund the initial setup costs for DEAR Inventory, Tammekivi asked his family and friends to invest in his venture with a 10% stake in the company. Shortly after he got started, he received support from the government through grants and funding agencies. In 2007, Tammekivi won the Estonian government’s Young Entrepreneur of the Year award for his entrepreneurial skills and contributions to the country’s economic growth.Tammekivi currently serves as CEO of DEAR Inventory while Juhanson works as CTO. To date, the company has raised several rounds of funding from investors such as GSF Accelerator Fund II (Switzerland), Afore Capital (UK), Cybernetica (Estonia), Northzone Ventures (Denmark. and SmartCap (Estonia. DEAR Inventory is also supported by prominent venture capital firms such as High-Tech Gründerfonds (Germany. and Speedinvest (Austria.By October 1, 2011, DEAR Inventory had more than 2,000 users from 50 countries around the world. By August 2012 the number of users had grown to 5,000 with over 3 million items being tracked by the software. By 2013 the number of users had increased to 7,000 from 50 countries with over 6 million items being tracked by DEAR Inventory. Today, DEAR Inventory has more than 3 million items being tracked by over 3,000 active clients from 68 countries around the world. It is currently available in 15 languages including English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Chinese (simplified), Japanese, Russian and Arabic. To date DEAR Inventory has received five awards including.

Both GetResponse and DEAR Inventory are strong players in their own niche market - GetResponse is an online marketing company while DEAR is a software company that focuses on e-commerce inventories and shipments tracking through email. Both companies have managed to carve out their own niches despite being in similar business fields. Nowadays they are working closely together to develop software programs that can help small businesses improve their efficiency even more. Integration between these two companies is expected to increase both their revenues and profits in coming years.
