Before we start, let’s just clarify a few things. First of all, this is not a Monkey Learn integration with Freshworks CRM. It’s an integration of Freshworks CRM with Monkey Learn. This is the first point because the topic of this article is so wide and complex that it would be challenging to describe all of its aspects in a single article.
Secondly, the subject is very specific – Freshworks CRM and Monkey Learn integration – and even though it’s a great example to describe how you can use Monkey Learn for your business, it doesn’t mean that it’s the only option you have.
Anyway, let’s get started.
Freshworks has been creating software to help streamline business processes for years now. Some of their products are. Freshdesk, Freshservice, Freshsales, Freshcaller, Freshchat, etc. But they also have their own CRM system called Freshworks CRM. What does it do? Essentially, it helps you manage your sales, marketing and support teams and keep track of customer relationships.
Freshworks CRM is a cloud-based application that allows you to:
Keep track of your sales and support teams and organize them into projects and teams;
Track your leads and contacts;
Schedule meetings and calls;
Set up tasks and reminders;
Create reports on sales activities;
Create reports on support activities;
Archive historical data.
MonkeyLearn is an AI platform for text analysis and natural language processing. It allows people to understand their data by using machine learning algorithms and create models for various NLP tasks such as text classification, sentiment analysis, summarization, translation and many more. You can also use the platform to build your own custom models and publish them for others to use. For instance, if you want to make a model that classifies emails as spam or not spam but you don’t have enough data to use for training, you can take some data from other users and make a model based on their data. That way you can use someone else’s model as your basis for your own model.
MonkeyLearn has three different categories. 1. APIs, 2. Model Marketplace and 3. MonkeyLearn for Salesforce. Let’s check them out:
How does Freshworks CRM work with MonkeyLearn?
In this section we will go through the main steps needed in order to integrate Salesforce with MonkeyLearn so that it can perform NLP tasks by itself. After integrating Salesforce with MonkeyLearn it will be able to classify emails based on their content, predict potential leads based on their emails, summarize emails so that users can get the most important information quickly and easily, translate text from one language to another etc. So let’s get started!
First of all you need to create an account on the MonkeyLearn platform (if you haven’t already done so. You can do this by visiting this page. https://www.monkeylearn.com/signup/. Once you create an account you should set up your API key which will provide access to all your data (you can find more information about API keys here. https://docs.monkeylearn.com/account/en/latest/api-keys/. You can also customize some settings like access permissions for your team members (you can set up permissions for multiple users), enable notifications (which will send notifications when new models are published on the market place), etc. Remember that this step is optional but it’s recommended because it will help you manage your account better in future (if you don’t set up permissions properly then other members of your team won’t be able to use their API keys. Once you have created an account you can proceed to setting up integrations between Salesforce and MonkeyLearn so that Salesforce can use MonkeyLearn’s APIs to perform NLP tasks. To do so go to Admin Conspe > Build > Customize > Integrations > Create Integration where you will be presented with the fplowing window. There are 4 different integration types which are explained below. 1. Connector. This integration type allows Salesforce users to connect with external services by using the Salesforce Platform Connect topkit. Examples are Facebook Lead Ads connector or 24SevenChat connector etc.. 2. SObject Data Source. This integration type allows data from external systems or applications to be imported into Salesforce objects in real time by executing jobs in Salesforce when new data is available in external systems or applications. Examples are HubSpot Data Source or Zoho CRM Data Source etc.. 3. External Workflow Action. This integration type allows Salesforce users to execute an external workflow outside of Salesforce whenever certain events occur within Salesforce. Examples are Send Email Action or Send SMS Action etc.. 4. External Workflow Task. This integration type allows users to build custom workflow logic that runs outside of Salesforce whenever certain events occur within Salesforce (example. Send Email Task. Once you choose one of these options then click Continue button and fill out the required fields (and press Save button. 4a. Connector. In this case we want “Connector – External Service Connector – Salesforce Platform Connect – The Platform Connect – Select Existing – Web – full platform – Use Default Authentication – Use Default Credentials – Create New Integration – Continue – Continue – Continue – Configure – Select External System – Web – Full platform – Continue – Continue – Continue – Continue – Save – Done – Done – Done – Done”. 4b. In this case we want “Sobject Data Source – Force.com – Call Trigger Script – ForceApiCallerForceAPIKey ForceAPIKey ForceApiCaller ForceApiSecretKey ForceAPISecretKey ForceApiUrl ForceAPIUrl ForceApiVersion ForceAPIVersion ForceApiMethod ForceAPIMethod ForceApiAction ForceAPIaction ForceApiCallbackParameter ForceAPIcallbackParameter ForceApiCallbackFileName ForceAPICallbackFileName ForceApiCallbackFileExtension ForceAPIcallbackFileExtension ForceApiCallbackBody ForceAPICallbackBody ForceApiCallbackUrlQueryParameters Field Field Field Field Field Field Field Field Field Field Field Field Field Field Field Field Field Field Field Field Field Field Field Field Field Field Field Field Field Field Field Field Field
